  1. I would think, plane £20,000. Flat rental for 10 days £1000, Car Hire £1000
  2. Wasn't this game the one that tickets were given to NHS workers for a five pound donation, also the give-away to school kids. Both of which are good ideas.
  3. My thoughts on yesterdays game. Coventry were poor in the first half. We were poor in the second half. The ref was poor in both halfs
  4. I think someone said earlier that Buckley was having to point out to other player where he was going to deliver the ball. Wouldn't it be easier to give the pass were the other players wanted it ?
  5. Not all wide player are super fast, an ability to deliver good passes can make up for a lack of speed. I agree with the other two points.
  6. An insignificant thing, but something that showed the refs inconsistancy. In the first half we had a corner which the ref delayed by going over to the corner flag to make sure the ball was correctly positioned. As the ball was not subsequently moved, it must have been in the right place. A few minutes later Coventry had a corner and from where I was sat the ball looked out of the quadrant. The ref just waved the coventry player to take the kick.
  7. A bad one does !
  8. The problem is that he looked great in a pre-season friendly. A whole world of difference between that and championship games.
  9. That is where we differ, I wouldn't be happy with mid-table.
  10. It was said that Gally was injured and was a doubt, yet he was picked. He looked unfit to me. In the second half he broke down the left, put a ball across the six yard box, it was picked up by Nyambe out wide right. Gally was stood with his hands on his knees, not even looking at what was happening with the ball. To me this was a managerial cock-up to pick an unfit player in the first place.
  11. I am starting to think, that is part of Mowbrays master plan to keep us mid table and in his comfort zone.
  12. I wish he would, at least you could hate him for being evil, not just pig-headed.
  13. The captain we have at the wheel, reminds me of the scene from the film "One flew over the cuckoos nest". With the bloke singing , I'm Popeye the sailor-man.
  14. Is it not a big step up from the Northern premier league to the championship. I still cannot understand loaning him out for a month. At least give him a chance to see if he is good enough at championship level. But no Mowbray plays Gally who he said was injured, and has Diaz on the bench who again Mowbray said was probably not up to playing today. We will lose in Burns, someone who could be a top class player
  15. So do you think 4 games or so, in the northern premier league is going to change him. Personally I'd have given him a chance today.
  16. Are you saying Mowbray is a good manager Yes or no will surfice,
  17. It is only a months loan I cannot see the point in doing that. All it does is weaken our U23s
  18. We have two players at U23 level that may make it to the first team. Burns and Phillips. Mowbray the fucking imbecille sends Burns out on loan. I am so glad I didn't renew my season ticket .
  19. Has Burns gone on loan to FC United of Manchester ?
  20. The thing is, it wouldn't embarrass them, because they don't give a shit.
  21. I think calling the U23s kids level, is a bit patronising.
  22. I have seen both play, and I prefer Burns. I am not saying who will have the best career in football. Just who I prefer.
