  1. Woke up this morning. Tony Mowbray had a dream. Walking down the Bolton Road. We’ve a starman .
  2. I would have thought the aim would be to make Ewood park the singing section. But you have to start somewhere.
  3. Yes the kop never works
  4. I would prefer it if we spent all our money on sorting out our defence.
  5. Have we not got Chapman for that position?
  6. We are going round in circles (similar to our defenders). My view is we should stick with Raya, and get a good center half and left full-back. Adios.
  7. If we had signed Lev Yashin in his prime he would not have improved our defenders last season.
  8. Part of a hair products franchise
  9. But that was not the choice. It was between Raya and a different keeper, or an upgrade on center half. We have to be realistic on who we are going to be able to sign.
  10. Having watched him when I lived in Aberdeen I agree he is not good enough
  11. Where have I stated that I am unsure if the keeper is part of a defence. The discussion started over whether changing our keeper would solve our defensive problems. I do not believe it would. If I stated the obvious, why do you persist in arguing against it.
  12. As long as it’s from a pint glass
  13. Improve I agree with. Drastically improve I don’t agree with.
  14. You could have the most commanding keeper in the world he will only add too a defence. If the defenders in front of him are not good enough he will ultimately fail.
  15. In my opinion the keeper is not the biggest problem. Defence is.
  16. At least we will become an urban myth
  17. What I was trying to say was that, the experienced players we need are ones that are going to do something in the future, as well as bask in what they have done in the past.
  18. I don’t get all the excitement about signing ex or aged players. All they bring are memories. We want players who bring a future.
  19. I can assure you that trouble happened at those games. It wasn't massive scraps between big gangs, but as fans crossed over fists flew, coppers got involved and arrests where made.
  20. Shrewsbury, Southend, Oldham, Doncaster all games where trouble occurred.
  21. But there is probably a reason he has made it as a professional player and the non league players haven't.
  22. The rovers fans could have been directed straight onto Bolton road The away fans directly to the coach park, no need for the fans to cross over
  23. Personally I think it's the other way round if you have a solid defence you can usually carry a keeper who makes mistakes. If you have a poor defence, the best keeper in the world will have that much to do that they will make mistakes.
