Andy replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
What is quite interesting is that we're seeing a lot of leaks of legitimate information - and this has ramped up recently. Certainly members of the backroom staff want to get certain points across. I'm still joining the dots at the minute, but we have the opposite of a united camp within the club.- 121 replies

Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
Andy replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I said the same when I drove past earlier today. They seemingly jet washed the area near to the away ticket office, but the rest of the stadium looks like the inside of a neglected fish tank. -
v Sheffield Wednesday (h) - 8/4/2025
Andy replied to philipl's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I'll be somewhere over the Atlantic in a metal bird when this game takes place - which, under normal circumstances, I'd be a bit gutted about. But, quite frankly, it'll be nice to forget it's even happening. We know it'll be more of the same; we know Pears will play, we know Sheffield will get an early goal and we know things will go from bad to worse. All while Ismael stands gormless on the sideline and the 3 stooges are gormless in the stands. -
Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

With the right people running the club, with the right intentions, we will see at least double the crowds we've been getting. With the right people running the club, we would not haemorrhaging money. Suggesting that Glen has some kind of underhand agenda is both bizarre and outs you as a Venky's stooge. -
v Middlesborough (h) - 4/4/2025
Andy replied to Proudtobeblue&white's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Fair play to Chris Ilumumomomo, or whatever he's called - the host was going down the sympathy route for VI. But he was correct in saying that the results speak for themselves. And the players look lost/confused on the pitch, no purpose or direction. -

'Blackburn's a shithole, I want to go home'. ...from people from Middlesborough. Anyway, absolutely dire again tonight. The senior management haven't got a clue what to do, how to handle the situation and all they will do is close their eyes & ears. Ismael has been an unmitigated disaster. -

Pears doing his best to gift yet another goal to yet another opposition. You'd have to be a bit simple to think he's anywhere near good enough to start games at Championship level. -

I don't drink (alcohol), but it's nights like this I wish I did. Nobody has any bollocks at the club. You could see it in all of their faces, they have no idea what to do. -

Gestede said that it wasn't discussed to his knowledge, or that he wasn't party to that discussion. Whilst it's clear that Eustace wasn't interested in staying whatsoever, it's also clear that the club 'had him in the departure lounge' as soon as he showed interest in speaking with Derby. Look how it's panned out. -
Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
Andy replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
This is what it all comes back to. We've employed amateurs and we're being run by amateurs. The outcome is inevitable. I didn't expect much from Gestede to start with, but listening to his podcast interview with the LET reporter (who I thought asked some good questions, in fairness), it left me gobsmacked at how poor his responses were and how he came across. Just imagine what we could do with a senior management team who a) knew what they were doing and b) cared more about the club than their own salary/pension/career prospects. -

It's either all lies, or none of them genuinely have any idea what they're doing. Or, actually, both. -
Suhail Shaikh / Pasha / The Shadow Man
Andy replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I have to be honest, listening to that interview tonight, if he's an intelligent and successful business professional...he's doing a good job of sounding anything but. I think most of us can spot a blagger a mile off. -
The Aynsley Pears depreciation thread.
Andy replied to Neal's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yeah, I'm his biggest anti-fan, but yesterday's goal wasn't his fault. Defending was awful. He did however make his routine cock-up in the second half - coming out for the ball, standing still and leaving the goal unprotected. Fortunately for the team, the defenders got him out of it. Now the season is over, give the rest of the season to Toth or Michalski. Pears shouldn't play for the first team again. -
Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

I think the 'players not being paid' thing is just chaos creation and nothing more. Stick to the facts for any protests, rumours just detract from what's trying to be achieved. -
v Portsmouth (a) - 29/3/2025
Andy replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yeah, both showed a bit of desire and quality on the ball that none of the others (possibly barring Ribiero) had in the proceeding minutes. Football can be a simple game and team selection is one of those elements. Pick your best players, put them in their most effective positions and give some clear instructions. -
Just on this forum alone we have many experienced professionals who could step into either of their roles tomorrow and genuinely do a better job.

Valérien Ismaël: Blackburn Rovers Head Coach

Unfortunately, it's what most of us fully expected. -

Andy replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
This the is route I'd go. Quite frankly, the form literally can not get any worse, so let's blood some of the talented kids and use the senior players who will be here next season. You cannot tell me that Tyjon (if he's fit) would not be a massive upgrade on what we saw today from Woodrow, for example. -
Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
Andy replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
At what point do we consider setting up an offshoot club, ala FC United? Unless these current ideas (which are ace, btw) force something to happen, it looks like Venky's are stubbornly in this forever. Which means the likes of Suhail, Waggott and Gestede will be leeching from the club forever as well. We'll have to consider something completely left field. -
v Portsmouth (a) - 29/3/2025
Andy replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Warnock would have been perfect. I said at the time, what we needed (and still need) is a motivator. The hours on the training ground to make us a solid enough unit had already been done. What was needed was somebody to find that balance between giving them a cuddle and lighting a fire under their arses. Ismael does neither. -
v Portsmouth (a) - 29/3/2025
Andy replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
That is absolutely dire. Another very, very poor side made to look mediocre as a result of our own 'performance'. As I said earlier, no plan and no strategy. The players have no patterns of play or direction; they look lost on the pitch. This is unacceptable. -

Cantwell has been one of our better players, since he came on. He's actually put the effort in and tried to make things happen, unlike the rest of them. -
v Portsmouth (a) - 29/3/2025
Andy replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
There's no plan, no patterns of play and no strategy. We're just on the pitch knocking the ball around (poorly). -
v Portsmouth (a) - 29/3/2025
Andy replied to Herbie6590's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I'm amazed that Woodrow has stayed on the pitch this long. Granted, one decent scoring opportunity, but aside from that...I mean, I've genuinely seen better players down at Pleasy on a Sunday morning. Just all a bit grim. We're existing, nothing more. We've become a Preston. -
Will you buy a season ticket for 25/26 season?
Andy replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I'm failing to see any reason to buy one other than habit/blind hope. Absolutely everything is pointing to a further lack of investment in the playing squad, more neglect of our club and very likely a season ending with relegation to League 1.
