  1. Is it worse than Nixon? Saw him confirm the other day that he blocked a guy for liking a post that said that Nixon hates Wolves or something like that. Another user then called him sensitive, and got blocked for that...
  2. And it all boils down to the so called owners as always. They may fund us enough to keep us floating. but they don't care about us. If they did then they would be here and see what is happening. Not staying in India an pretend all is well. Should have cancelled the takeover the moment they say they were excited about how Rovers could improve the Venky's brand, and not the other way around.
  3. or sticker at the bottom of the toilet bowl...
  4. kean thinking Leon Worst would fire us to promotion...
  5. I still wonder why his name is not mentioned whenever one of the top clubs are searching for a new manager. I mean, he was such a good man, excellent manager, could spot a talent and manged to bring championship football to the owners (still convinced that's what he said and the owners thought he meant champions league).
  6. Still injured I think, both brothers actually. He wasn't fit enough to sign for a club here in Sweden before our window shut. But yeah, I'd have him back if fit!
  7. Yes! Hate this. If i was up to me, I'd give every one of them a yellow card for handball. The joke that is Financial "fair" play. Said to protect the smaller clubs... "Transfer bans", where the club are not allowed to sign players, but still can sign players, just don't register them for the club. Lex Barcelona, who presented 77 players the day the "ban" was lifted 2016. That's good transfer works, finding and signing 77 players in one day... General amount of money spent in footbal today. Average players making disgusting amounts of money. The list could go on...
  8. Just a random though, what do you guys think we could have gotten for Alan Shearer in today's market? I mean, clubs buy 4th choice keepers for more than we got for him back in the day.
  9. Ahh, the man with the most ironic last name in the history of football!
  10. Yay! Go Sweden! ?
  11. You'd think he would have become a better keeper at burnley, with growing that extra 6th finger on each hand and so on...
  12. Blackburn Rovers proudly present "Wrong Direction"
  13. As usual, the biggest concern is whether the people in charge are capable of bringing in a replacement that is at least as good the the outgoing player. IE do we trust them to bring in a keeper that is better or at least at minimum as good as Raya?
  14. My team in Sweden just launched the "third kit" to be used this season. I like the design...
  15. Chris Samba is still without club as far as I know. Wonder if he's still any good. 35 years old and probably used to a bit higher salary than we can afford...
  16. If we want an experienced keeper to teach Raya, Buffon is without club... I know I know, realistic targets...
  17. Sad day for football. I wonder how FIFA would look today if he had won the election back in the day, instead of the living corruption that is Sepp Blatter.
  18. Let's hope it turns out better than Whittingham in that case. There are a few interesting players without contract at the moment. I saw for example that Yoann Gourcuff has no club. He was thought to be a world-class player back in the days. Not that he would ever come here even today... Just a bit interesting what happens to some players.
  19. Depends on the size of the sub I'd say. Oh wait, what were we talking about again? ?
  20. That man was proper shite, wasn't he? Had a look at his wikipedia stats, according to that he's played 150 career games. For 11 different teams. Since 2006.
  21. that is true. The song just wasn't about his footballing skills. Not directly anyways. ?
  22. Hanley did get a song about the size of his head... ?
  23. De Rossi leaves Roma. Under our PL days (particularly under Sam Allardyce) that could have been a signing that would have been even slightly possible. Get a few good years out of him. These days? Not so much. And I guess we still have a big stumbling block in the owners. We have no idea what kind of money TM will have to work with in the summer.
  24. Sorry if it's been brought up earlier in this thread, but Joe Ledley, on a free transfer. Would that be a good/realistic signing? No idea what kind of level he possess at the moment. 32 years old, would bring a lot of experience to the team. Left Derby due to lack of game time it seems.
