Assombo needs a decent supply line and unless we are going 4-4-2 I do not see him being at Ewood
More inclined to believe he is coming here if he wouldn't be a good fit.

Spoke to a coach at Rovers she works with the lady’s team. Assombalonga has been shown around STC. It could happen
Warnock says he already has a club lined up. It takes Venkys an ice age to make a move for a player, someone's been on the ball to get this deal done, it won't be us.
He'll also be on a considerable wedge.
Can't see it happening.

Didn’t stop Wes...
Did he come out of retirement to play for us??
(genuinely can't remember)

Chris Samba was at Brockhall today.
I've no idea what he was there for but I wish he was still playing!
luckily he's retired

I thought the same, it doesn't guarantee anything. Nobody knows. They probably haven't even decided or looked at it themselves yet
which is criminal in itself

I can't believe they are using Covid as an excuse, like it impacted on us only. Injuries the same, when we played Stoke they basically fielded a B team (they beat us anyway, of course)
I can't believe we have been saddled with these useless owners. Infuriating doesn't even come close.

Could do worse on a free!
I work with a Boro season ticket holder (he's of an older generation) and he isn't a fan of Assombalonga, to put it politely
Sounds like both him and Fletcher already have a club lined up. Won't be us

Was it ever in doubt? The ONLY club where results don’t matter. The last week has shown that this is now the ONLY club in England where the views of supporters do not matter one iota either - their prerogative, I suppose, but a complete collapse in ST sales and revenues will be the result with a return to the third division most likely.A shameful spectacle.
An utter shambles.
As if we want Mowbray in charge of a summer overhaul. His transfer dealings are generally poor and always signs some Boro reject.
There will be no point in allowing fans back in at this rate, no one will want to turn up!

Has everyone forgotten about Damian Johnson? Been here for years as player and coaching staff---loyalty----Venkys like that.
They also like promoting from within their organisation (and they've promoted Johnno once already.
He has a successful record of preparing the young 'uns and might be able to persuade one or two to stay where I imagine TM couldn't.
Best of all----he'd be CHEAP!
I think I've made a pretty good Venky case for him.
I haven't forgotten, i figured Mowbray would get binned, Johnson given the reigns and would get a few results and then they would give him the job full time in the summer.
That's not happened as Venky's either don't care or seem to be under the delusion that Mowbray can turn it round.
Not sure about giving it to Johnson, he could work out well but i think we need a manager who has a previous (recent) good history in the Championship.
Although that shows ambition, which goes against how Venky's work.

I wouldn't bet on it i think they've just lost interest again and heads have gone firmly back in the sand. That seems to be the pattern with them so summer brings either as you were or they leave it to the finance men and we have a fire sale and another impending relegation.
The review, restructure and genuine attempt to move forwards, since the last one, we all crave and the club badly needs remains a very long shot imo.
Aye, you could be and probably are correct.
Seems more likely it will all go wrong when Venkys are concerned.

Mowbray has more front than Brighton.
I reckon he'd happily sit it out even if fans were present.
Only thing i can come up with is that they are just leaving him in place until the summer (no idea why) and then they will bin him as part of the review.
So i guess they have just written off the season and don't care what happens in the last few games.
Unacceptable if that is the case, as we have to suffer through whilst they just hide in India.

Absolutely disgraceful that he is still in charge.
I don't care if Venky's want to do a review in the summer, we are just wasting the fans time and money (and patience) by leaving him in charge for the remaining games.

Another defeat.
Can't carry on like this, he's a terrible manager.
I'm fed up with this, same shit every week.
I'm probably now fed up of being fed up to be honest.

How, just how does he survive this.
Fuck off Venkys.

How much longer do we have to suffer under this appalling manager?
Dreadful stuff again. On course to get beat by all the bottom 3 clubs.

Not liking that starting 11.
Bennett and Evans, urgh.
Trybull and Evans in the same midfield is the least dynamic ever.
-
I'll end up watching it. Score draw i reckon.
2-2.
We'll concede first, pull it back to 1-1, go in front and then let in the softest goal ever for 2-2.
-
it's all kicking off in football today, come on Venkys fuel the fire by sacking Mowbray! (no one will even notice, outside of Rovers)

I read that prospective EPL members would have to resign from the PL so it might be a case of who blinks first if this goes ahead.
The sneaky, underhanded way this has been done makes me think Waggott could get a job with one of them clubs 😂.

If Mowbray is in charge for next seasons opener, my interest is going wane significantly.
