Ha, footy is back!
I'll be sharing your pain this weekend. Someone always lets me down for that never reachable £200 (ish)

Doncaste drew 0-0 at home to Gillingham and I think Southend is a better team so I think we will beat them at home.
If we aren't beating Doncaster at home, we aren't going up.

Any Coventry supporter who has bought an early bird season ticket gets a ticket for this game thrown in for free.
Seems like a sensible way to try and boost the gate for what will probably be a poorly attended fixture.
2 clubs, owned by 2 of the worst owners, playing on a Tuesday night, in a cup which has a name like a Moose.
I'll be amazed if anyone turns up.

I do! Surely those genetic misfits are due some bad luck.
Ha, you're right there but knowing our luck, he'd do really well with those lot!

It is only a matter of time before some team in England gets stuck with him. Imagine he ends up in League 1. The bufoon probably thinks it's beneath him after a few relatively successful years in a league a lower standard than the league of Ireland.
I sincerely hope that no one takes him on in England ever again but you're probably right that sooner or later a certain agent will have enough sway over some clueless, wealthy owner to make it happen.

I think it was something like FM2006, I always conceded once I had a throw in.
You're sat watching the blue numbered circle throw the yellow dot straight to the red numbered circle, who just charged straight past all the other blue circles and smashed the yellow dot in the white rectangle.
Keyboards/Controllers/mice/monitors just went everywhere.

If you're up for playing an old one, then it's got to be 01/02 or 97/98!
I haven't played footy manager for ages but the older ones are proper infuriating. When you've just got the text bar across the screen for matches.
"Utd burst into the box"
"He hammers the shot"
"What a save by the keeper"
Phew...
"But he hits the rebound"
Gasp...
"GOAL!!"
Arghhh!
Every. Single. Time.

Sounds like a hatchet man, who's here to get stuck in and battle. No complaints on that front from me, our midfield has been incredibly limp for ages, barely a proper challenge between the lot of them.
His actual footballing ability is where he might fall down but I'm guessing his remit will be to get the ball and pass it to Whittingham.

Just sayin'

Another great write up DE. keep them coming.
How did the footballing world have ANY sympathy for K**n, the sheer amount of delusional nonsense he spouted is phenomenal.

Welcome.
Our central midfield options have been woeful over the last few years. Lets hope Mowbray has finally got something sorted with Smallwood and Whittingham.

You have to question the draw given that Charlton have been drawn against both Exeter away, and Cheltenham at home.
I noticed this, I didn't have sound on (at work) but how did they get round this? Surely it needed a re-draw?

Had to be really but we are away a Mogga's old club, Coventry City

The draw for the cup is on now.

Genuinely don't know how to feel about this draw.
We are at our lowest point. Could be an amazing victory or embarrassing defeat as they assert their current lofty position over us.
