  1. An animated Rovers manager on the touchline......not seen that for 5 years
  2. Blackpool learnt nothing from our defeats. They just haven't got stuck in on us
  3. Ridiculous booking for Vale.
  4. Wharton shouldn't have passed to Vale then Travis idiot
  5. Mowbray working his magic. 3-0 up
  6. Dolan off and out on loan to Chorley FC please
  7. Blackpool nothing like as physical as Reading or Sheff Utd, making it easy for our nice boys Dolan just shovelled a shit shot over the bar
  8. Blackpool all over the place .... we need to score a 2nd
  9. Dolan does good - strange typing that
  10. Rovers are doing well considering we have a scratch team and Dolan is playing
  11. You're a better player than him
  12. League 2 or lower is his level
  13. You have to give credit to fourth division Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic. An embarrassing defeat and apparently unacceptable post match comments and they acted swiftly and decisively to axe the manager. Contrast with our lot who did nothing after an equally embarrassing 7-0 home loss last season. I know we then went on a stellar run but that proved to be an aberration. The point is Bournemouth is a dynamic club with a proactive management that dealt quickly with a problem. Waggott and his mates would have just shrugged their shoulders and mumbled something about a long term project
  14. Looking at the videos of his goals Hirst certainly likes the plonked on his head from wide positions. The problem is who in our team is good at delivering crosses?
  15. Good old Tony.... I bet he can't believe his luck. A five-year multi-million pound boost to his pension courtesy of BRFC and now his burgeoning retirement pot gets another huge lift.
  16. Yes it was. Giles is a fine left back, an upgrade on anything we’ve got. A right winger he is not. Mowbray’s flawed thinking again.
  17. I went to the Reading game and Rovers were "bossed" by the Reading players from start to finish. Our bunch of nice boys shrunk into the shells and weren't able to compete. Travis tried to mix it with them but he was alone. We don't have enough tough nuts in the team. Same at Sheffield from all the reports. Take away Travis from midfield and not have any so-called "hard men" in midfield - as you suggested - doesn't make any sense.
  18. Sorry all the best teams have a number of hard men - especially in a tough, physical league like the Championship. We were bullied by Reading and Sheffield United because we can't compete with teams like that
  19. Travis would go a good job at right back as a stand-in but who would replace him in midfield? He's the only midfield player we have who will put a foot in and highlights the urgent need for another player of his type. Midfield is as much a problem as our non-scoring forward line IMO
  20. Brereton is not a left winger by any stretch of the imagination. A winger beats his full back and bangs in crosses - which Brereton does not do. He's a left-sided forward
  21. Good that Caulker didn't make the cut. We've got enough C and D listers already. Let's hope there's an A or at least B-list midfield bollock and biter on the way and another forward to replace the outgoing Brereton who looks like he may have played his last match for Rovers.
  22. Please no. His game is far too limited and most of the time he might as well not be on the field
  23. He can take Butterworth and one or two others with him. Sunderland and Mowbray appear the perfect fit - North East man, experienced Championship manager, available etc etc. They wouldn't would they?
