  1. Wouldn't drop Holtby myself, and I'd rather see a 4-4-2 than 4-3-3. Midfield looks inexperienced and lightweight
  2. So that's West Brom safe. Good appointment, though the fans who think football is about "entertainment" won't like it.
  3. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see a properly organised team with a well drilled defence? And Rovers in the top 6 and challenging for promotion? Anyway, back to tonight and more confused thinking and tinkering from Tony
  4. Why cares about football? I only want to win matches
  5. Lots of stuff like this around https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-8834199/Crazy-tales-Roy-Keanes-managerial-career-Class-92-consider-Salford-job.html Would you really want him at Ewood?
  6. Keane would be a horrendous appointment IMO. Rather like Souness, Ferguson and Mourinho, he picks fights with people, targets players he doesn't like, and usually creates a nasty atmosphere of division and distrust. I wouldn't mind if he had a stellar record like those three but he's failed more often than he's succeeded. Keane is managerial poison. Avoid.
  7. Thanks. Just stuck some money on a loss and a draw.
  8. Rotherham are a decent outfit and will provide a stern test tomorrow. I can't see a win to be honest. 1-1.
  9. Another one gone in this miserable year. We paid Everton about £10,000 for George, which seems laughable now but was alot of money in those days. I remember him as a strolling wing half, not much pace but a nice touch on the ball and a good player to watch. I liked him RIP George
  10. I don't want Keane anywhere near Ewood. He's poison and he's not even a good manager. Don't get me started on Warnock. We could have had twice in the last 5 years - and he wanted to come. Pearson would do a good job.
  11. A ruthless owner who knew what he wanted and who knew the game would sack Mowbray on Monday morning
  12. The season's over, that must be obvious. The team is flawed and the manager can't fix it.
  13. The deflected goal killed it for us. The players' heads were down after that
  14. 1 point out of 9 Not good enough Another dead season
  15. Norwich back in control. Rovers deflated. That was a lucky goal but we concede far too easily
  16. That's so unlucky but another soft goal
  17. You were confident we would "see off this lot" ??
  18. We're reduced to Lenihan 70-yard balls to no one in particular
  19. Should be 2-0. Norwich all over us. Reality is we're just not good enough
  20. Just like midweek....... Rovers firing wide and high all the time. Norwich like Bristol.....solid but nowt special, and leading 1-0
  21. Pukki v Gallagher in the box. Only one outcome
  22. Too easy. too much space. This isn't going well
  23. Albert Camus. I wonder if he was angry or depressed after a defeat or perhaps he was philosophical?
  24. Is the match on ifollow or Sky ?
