Yep, on the way home. Unconvincing victory but I’ll take it -

Does anyone know if we've sold out? The Rovers ticket website is playing up as usual -

Is anyone else venturing into deepest, dark sarf London? I’ve been a few times and it’s never a comfortable place to visit but we have a reasonable record down there and I’m hoping that continues despite my poor form in away matches i was talking to an Irish Newcastle fan the other day and he has a 100 per cent failure rate in away matches - he’s never seen them win once. I’m not quite that bad but a rare win would be welcome. Here’s hoping. Millwall 1 Rovers 2 -

Overstating it somewhat for a simple 10 yard pass between 2 defenders. The timing of Rankin Costello’s run deserved more praise and made the pass possible. -

I was lucky: rang up early on the day of the open sale and nabbed 4 tickets. Within hours they were gone. The Ewood sales lady said 1,500 season ticket holders had taken up their tickets before the open sale, so 1,500 open tickets were snapped up very quickly It looks like Rovers could easily have sold alot more and we could have had 5,000 plus to support the lads Maggott it appears got it wrong again by underestimating demand - whether it was deliberate only he knows -

Looks like we got our 4 tickets just in time. My first visit to the "new" Stamford Bridge - let's hope it is a memorable one -
Of course. There's no other measure, and by that measure England is a failing football nation Look at our record against France, Germany, Italy, Spain. It's pathetic. Even when we at last got to a final, after more than 55 long years, in our own national stadium, we managed to blow it And that was against an Italy side that 6 months later that failed to qualify for the World Cup The perception of England from abroad is irrelevant until we start winning trophies
-
Kane was top class as usual and gets better with age. The second goal, in which he outmuscled and outmanouevred the Italian centre half, was a masterclass in centre forward play. England so lucky to have him. Grealish is the big disappointment for me. So much ability, he should be a regular pick now
-
From the first ball of the match that was a shit performance from England. Embarrassing to watch and made ourselves a laughing stock. Following on from the Ashes failure we could now fail to qualify for the qualifying stages of the World Cup. Butler should resign.

Odd post We’ve been terrible in many games and “nice football” doesn’t entitlle anyone to win football matches QPR were dire, one of the worst teams I’ve seen in the Championship. Today was a welcome win but the team’s well documented problems remain
-
Hill had an excellent game at Coventry in midweek though I still prefer Brittain at right back. The new goalkeeper didn't do much wrong either
-
Very welcome and confidence-boosting win after a terrible run but goodness me, QPR were poor and look destined for the drop. I hope no one gets carried away - this isn't the start of a charge up the table
-
Can Ennis trip over a blade of grass and injure himself in the last 20 minutes?
-
Good player but not as good as Brittain.
-
We'd be disappointed to let those first 3 goals in. Where are the defenders? Ainsworth will be out of the door soon
-
Two soft goals but in our position we'll take them. QPR look certain for the drop on this form. Can we somehow manage to blow this from here?
-
Blimey, I didn't realise QPR were so bad they'd let Dolan score
-
Can you have a relegation 6 pointer in October? Normally no, but we're so poor and struggling that it feels like it. Would normally be at Loftus Road today and have seen us win there a few times. Hope it's not an omen
-
Have to admit I hadn't thought of that..... try to deliberately lose games so he gets the boot and ends his Ewood agony.
