  1. It was on the TV and anyone could see they were a solid side full of experienced pros that had too much nous for our team. Making up a load of ifs and buts about their goals is a weird stance to take.
  2. Their fans will say they were easily the better side. Pinned us back for long periods and created plenty of chances. I’d be surprised if they don’t make the playoffs
  3. I’ve seen enough of Leonard thanks, the truth is the lad isn’t good enough at the moment. I said Preston were solid, nothing more. It’s solid teams that play the percentages that win promotion
  4. Me neither. Wouldn’t get near the team if he were at Preston
  5. Good question. Our marquee summer striker signing and it’s November and he’s hardly been seen. What a waste of time
  6. If we had Ched Evans or a player like him I’d agree. But we don’t. Dolan isn’t going to win many headers
  7. Worst player for me was Sigurrdsson. just don't rate the lad. I'd take 7 or 8 of Preston's players - all big strong lads ideal for the Championship
  8. With all due respects that's a daft post. He's one of the most naturally talented players I've seen in a Rovers shirt for years.
  9. We had a good 20 minute spell in each half - and that's it We had much to fear because we had a makeshift defence that was always going to be vulnerable. And we lost to them again. Take the blue and white specs off, Preston were pragmatic and knew how to win
  10. A big team of good 'uns will always beat a little team of the same. I wish we had players of Preston's size and stature. We have no one like Ched Evans
  11. You were saying? You've much to learn
  12. Potts is fast and strong, you'd want him in your team
  13. Siggurdson robbed again. I've yet to see him play well
  14. Preston a big team of rugged 6 footers against our little lads.... We'll do well to draw this
  15. Should be 1-1 half time, Siggi such a simple chance
  16. Siggi at left back… where’s Harry? This isn’t going to end well
  17. Lovely post, great memories. I was lucky enough to meet Ronnie Clayton and Bobby Moore - they were "gentlemen" footballers from another generation, humble, respectful, different men and breed to the current mob. As for tonight, they've a good record against us in recent times and we've so many players missing I'll be happy with a draw.
  18. Point of order: we are Rovers, never Blackburn There has always been a floating support in Lancs. We used to go and watch Burnley in the late 1960s and early 1970s, when Rovers were away or night matches, just to see some old First Division (Premier League) football. Always supported the opposition, mind....
