  1. Exceptional performance. Travis, Armstrong, Rodwell helping to transform the team.
  2. Think it's done and dusted.
  3. Chapman spotted at Stanley House, surely worth a mention on this thread.
  4. Presume Downing wants to play before end of his contract, to get a new club.
  5. Livorno interested in Rodwell - on Newsnow.
  6. Mercer, the world is different place now, in terms of the levels of investment in Championship squads, not least by recently relegated PL clubs.
  7. Change the record mate. Nothing ever good enough. The desire and drive was there, but maybe not the ability at key times. We were not humiliated and many of the players you slate did well. You really need help.
  8. The 'passer have to be in front of the back four, picking up the ball and playing in those across the front players. Dack plays up front. Palmer can't, Travis, we don't yet, Rodwell gives the ball way too often. Reed maybe. The idea that we play a long-ball game really doesn't hold up either.
  9. Who do we have in midfield who can play short passing?
  10. Should Shelvey have been on the pitch? https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2019/jan/06/jonjo-shelvey-paul-pogba-fa-referees-video-evidence
  11. Nonsense about the subs changing the game. One poor challenge did the trick. A good performance against a very poor home team.
  12. Decent half in a low-key affair. Travis showing excellent touches to get past his man and set up attacking play.
  13. Bell given MoM by WBA's local paper, and part from a couple of early mishaps I thought he did well. Armstrong too was very good, and grew into the game. Well done Rovers.
  14. Left back and centre half needed as priorities. Goal conceded column tells us where to start.
