Bennett may well be more suited to the game on Saturday in the middle alongside Travis, it makes sense to leave Johnson on the bench although both have been guilty of giving too much ball away in the middle of the park recently and if it happens on Saturday nobbers will crucify us. Totally agree with DG back up front, 4-4-1-1 should be the way, PNE are quick breaking and play counter attacking football BUT if they take out Gally and starve him of possession then nobbers go into their shell. Similarly with the lad Johnson, nullify him and PNE have nothing left in the centre. Rovers have to be careful of their own penalty area, nobbers dive for fun and seem to get the run of the green penalty wise. will be listening from afar and hoping its not a repeat of last seasons debacle

On the pitch there is no leader, Bennett is NOT nor will ever be a good leader on the park. We urgently need a player who will shout, coral, badger and berate and set standards for others to follow. This team needs purging, Bennett needs removing asap as a starter for 10. His lack of leadership affects players like Travis who has retracted into a shell in recent games instead of the flying all star performer he appeared to be at the start of the season.

Not going to read everyone’s views on this game. Its ok playing pretty possession football but you need an end product, Tony we didn’t have one. More defensive calamity defending cost us, Bennett’s incompetence and The defence backing off again. Tonys love in with Bennett needs finishing, he is costing us dearly. Tosin was class alongside Williams. Armstrong and the diddymen were disjointed upfront, we needed height and guile of a centre forward someone with ounces of class TM left him on the bench.

The morning after.... If the forest that battered Stoke would have turned up to play they would have hammered us, thing is it was a stifled performance from both teams, midfield cluttered and little by way of creative football in the first half. I think it was both teams not willing to give and not willing to concede. Rovers for me in the first 45 played too many passes to get the ball to feet, yes sometimes it looks pretty but others it is so frustrating. I do not think Rovers play well with the 4 at the back, for me it has to be 3 5 1 1. I feel for Gally, he wins a header and there is no one there to benefit, there is very little support in the supply line to him because as we saw, if Rovers do go direct we score ! Second 45 was better however how many time do we need to learn that by backing off we concede and what irked more was that it the cheat that is Lolley that again benefitted a Forest steal of a point at Ewood. I have to say that I though Walton went down like a sack of spuds and I haven't seen it on the reply yet. I felt we did enough to win the game the half chances that came and went didn't go for us. I think its 5 points lost for us over the last 2 games.
