oh dear Phil, your last post just came back and bitten you on the ar££e nobeners were poor, whamfc were just a little bit better. Listening to the celebrations brought back memories of Wembley but on looking at the overall picture, I agree, wham fc are going straight back down along with Wigan and Sunderland/West Brom

[Archived] 2005/6 Season Ticket Sales
1864roverite replied to Mike Graham's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
thats right, they got exactly 31k and have sold exactly 30800 ! they have a problem in that some "geezer" managed to order tickets over the internet and all his mates/oppos did the same. There is believed to be somewhere in the region of around 1700 wham fans that have obtained tickets for the nobenders end ! 2-1 wham (ridgley and micheal) -

as I expected a price increase YES but KUQI no F*****G WAY If he signs then NO ticket for the first year in alifetime fo following my beloved BRFC -
Cant see any problems with our home crowd even if pne make it up. Their home crowds are poor to say the least. The season ticket prices at pne are similar NOW to those of Rovers, they have offered a renewal at this seasons prices but surely if they go up they will go up as will individual match day prices. Preston is as dank a town as Blackburn, unemployment is similar. Cannot in any way see any upturn in the support for nobenders. Preston, if they get up, will ALWAYS play home games alternate to Rovers. Its a Police thing. Lancs Const could not police both games, plus bumley or blackpool on the same weekend. In any case, that pne team tonight would as big Jim said, get slaughtered week in week out. Trevor Hemmings will NOT put his hand in pocket to grant a major spending spree and because of that just what type of player would they get ? I just have to favour the big time charlies that are West Ham in the Final. I would love to see pne up but I fear the hammers will do for them big style. Should be a nice bank holiday Monday in Preston

Douglas was voted the worst signing for the season by gills fans making my assumption he didnt hack it the right one ! Glad we finished with a point, now for a few beers, a barbie and a few more beers. Glad for once the season has finished. Just waiting for the season ticket renewal !! happy summer everyone -

Have a bit of faith Rovers have proved over the years that they are the worst possible team to play against when a European place is up for grabs ! -
I cant see Rovers getting anything other than a pure good old scouse welcome. Two sets of supporters shouting for the same team ! Rovers to bottle it at Anfield and still come away with a trophy unless the little scouse gits nick it ! Also fancy a dance on the anfield turf from the carlsberg stand if we win

Fergie Trying To Upset Rovers
1864roverite replied to Alan75's topic in I Can't Believe It's 1994/95
I cant see Shearer wanting to take a step backwards ! Why on earth go to Manu U when he can win all the trophies he wants at Ewood and abroad -
Speaking to a mate from Italy and it appears the Rovers have lined up a potential replacement should Dalglish "do a liverpool", apparently some muppet called Sven Goran Eriksson is being touted about !
-
I just hope that Tim Flowers will be up for this one and at last show a bit of bottle ! After all we know the likes of the hunchback and co will pepper him with shots in the knowledge that he is probably the weakest goalkeeper in the Premier League at the moment. Personally I think it be down to just how he home crowd react. The barcodes will be up for it, if only out of pure jealousy at our little clubs position. Keegan versus Dalglish ? Rovers versus Newcastle ? Cloth caps versus coalminers and roadsweepers !

After all the recent effort Rovers are allowed and can be forgiven for having a bad day at the office. noone is to blame, they have obviously worked their ###### off over recent months and today was the day it finally caught up with them -

Ive read it and I am still of the same opinion as are other members. Playing well in three or four games a season is simply not good enough. -
first planning stage of my jaunt is that myself and a colleague go out 2 weeks before the tourny starts to have a "look around" whilst also paying a 3 day visit to Holland. looks like we are staying in a smallish village outside Munich beginning with "g". 6-7 weeks of Germans and all, cant wait . The hotel we are at has its own indoor pool, my seat is reserved and my sunbed has my name on it

I just fancy a Rovers win, we have the better record in recent years at this ground. Brum are going to be at it hammer and tongues just simply because of the Savage factor. The hype surrounding that alone may just put them off the game. I forsee at least one sending off of a brum player just as its likely Savage will go if he gets that wound up. -
