September clash with Newcastle. Oh what a game it is going to be. Sourness return to Ewood if he is still in a job. Shearers lastever outing at an away league match versus Rovers. Shearer vs Bellamy shootout. The pre match build up of vile in the media, spouting from both sourness, fat fred and the mouth on legs ! Virtually a full house with 7.5k bar codes. SKY TV Coverage. Oh Roll ON September -

yes waggy I agree. People just dont want to thrash out £300-£500 in one go, nor do they want to have the aggravation of filling out a form for a direct debit payment, nor do they want to provide a credit card for payment and god forbid anyone who wnats to walk to go to the ground and pay cash -

sour grapes paddyk ? I mean you have Shearer a year older and three paces slower and a hulking centre forward in Ameobi - a player in the ashley ward school of finishing mould. You must be one of the minority newcastle supporters who feel glad that Bellamy has left the club. Reading NUFC sites they are gutted about losing him. I think that come September Paddy you will see a different Blackburn Rovers, I enjoy the Newcaslte fans and have a fine relationship with the city itself. This season will see Newcastle flirt with the bottom 5 consistently until Souness gets fired. The heartbeat is being torn away from your team, you can no longer rely on Shearer and your managers insistence that Dyer can play a stikers role for the whole season is seriously misguided, let alone score the 20 plus goals a season required. -

The only time we will get labelled is when we have to put in a fight agaisnt the top rated teams. Cfc,Arse and manure have all got prima donnas who dont like the standard English tackle. They dont like to mix it. The likes of pompy, charlton, city, villa, everton, bolton and everyone else have all got scrappers and fighters that can dish it out. its time for MEN to reclaim the Beautiful game, no ponces -

for those who remark about the first gulf war. I watched intensely from my position in the armed forces on 8th August when the Iraqi's marched into Kuwait, it wasnt pretty believe me. I watched engrossed in "live" coverage on my computer screen as to what it was the Iraqi army actually did as they waltzed into the city. Having served in NI, been to the red sea clearing mines, seen numerous dead bodies, heads and limbs missing, I was totally shocked at the actions of the Iraqi army. They did not care a jot about what they did. If you think your shocked by the actions last week in London then fear not, when the videos are released under the 30yr rule you will see exactly what they did. Now then compare this to the recent war and the capture of Saddam. granted a few personnel showed what clowns they are for behaving in a cruel manner ie prisoners, shootings and cruelty. But believe me the way our armed forces went straight to baghdad was totally professional. We have seen the torture of the alzarqawi faction, the slayings of innocents,Mr BIGLEY and co, he murder of a defenceless woman, the torture of other individuals. This is how they act. They could not face a proper fight and they could not face the thought of a true battlefield. They cant even target a worthwhile cause and have now killed many inncoent victims, coloured and white. The people we are dealing with are not terrorists, they are not armies, they are worthless individuals, brainwashed, hell bent individuals who care nothing about true beliefs except their own misguided views. In short they are COWARDS. We, the British, are a proud nation. We are undefeatable. We stood and faced Hitler and nazism and then shoved it straight back down their throats. The anniversary of such an ecvent is this weekend. We have stood the test of time with the ira. Theywere scum and still are, they again picked individual soft targets to tyr and make a point. They again were beaten, both by us and their own people. These lunatics will be weeded out, the people who help them hide and preach their viscious rantings will be held repsonsible. the gvt should start with them. kick them out, kick every single one of them out and shut that mosque at finsbury Park. let them get the message that we will not tolerate such behaviour. the sooner this is done the better. Dont get me wrong, there are good muslim people out there, they are a majority. I know such people and am proud to call them my friends. They ahve the same beliefs as most of us. We fund bakri and hook and yet still allow them to receive such benefits for their families. its a sad disgrace. as for fat george, anyone who believe the trash that this man spits out needs to know a little more about him. he is a parasite who kissed the hand of the ultimate tyrant, Saddam hussain, he blessed the leader who organised the slaying of thousands for a return of oil/money and gift for his traitorism. he is as low as scum gets and anyone who accepts his views are clearly mssing that vital link in their brains. the time has come to readdress the situation. the sooner the better

I saw that Swansea only granted Fulham 400 tickets for their game, is it going to be the same with Rovers ? I land at bradford at 0300hrs and then its straight off to sunny Wales for the friendly. Miss the game at home to espanyol due to a wedding then its off to the Bolyn for the opener. -
[Archived] Mark Hughes - Good Choice ?
1864roverite replied to Ste B's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
Go to agree John. I have been gutted about the lack of activity throughout the close season with incoming transfers and I was stunned when Kuqi was brought in on a freebie. Then the big shock transfer after the downer with McCarthy that brings in Bellamy. Further to that we hear the rumblings of yet another signing being made in the not too distant future. Hughes certainly has pulled off a master stroke with the signing of Bellamy. he guarantees us goals, he guarantees chances and he guaranteees effort. I just hope that Rovers pull together from the off and bring to us performacnes that HUGHES has promised. The team unity will clearly be evident when we kick off at Wham next month. I just hope that whilst I am on holiday this next 3 weeks that I pick up the papeers in Ibiza and see another possibly 2 players coming into the club. I will be certainly be over the moon if we could also offload a few including amoruso, douglas and gray. granting free transfers to the three of them should do the trick -

looks like the blue and white halves will go down well in Ibiza from Thursday, cant wait to don my new shirt just to wind any brum, celtic, everton, manure and everyone else about being a ROVERS SUPPORTER. The banter in Es Cana is going to be fantastic especially if there are any Aussies there for the test match and WE win Oh Lord let it shine, so the English win and the Aussies whine -
can anyone take fat george seriously ? He is about as intelligent as that bumley mp . The first start is going to upset some, the second start will also ipset a faction of this country. It doesnt matter what view you have it was a terrible tragedy for those involved, it is a sickener to the watching world. The only message of hope is to carry on as usual. They WILL be weeded out and caught, there will be repercussions. Does anyone seriously think that our SF's are not out there doing the business ? of course they are, its a hidden war.

who really gives a toss about the names Rovers are called really ? When we set about the league in August and start putting a few points on the board, start scoring a few goals, grind out results agaisnt the soc alled big boys and generally annoy everyone in the football world then they eventually will leave us alone. God forbid, little 'ol Blackburn Rovers becoming the media darlings again. We had it in 1995 and since that infamous scrap on the pitch it has all been downhill. Let the media have their say, Ewood Bruise Borthers ? I think not. I see a far better organised outfit this season and I see a good few more points out of the first 6 or 7 games than last season. -

read the celtic message boards read the letters on sky and read the newcastle message boards. the tims are gutted about not getting him, now they vent their ill mannered abuse towards Ewood Park cause little 'ol Blackburn Rovers have beten them to a fantastic player. Whats the attraction at Ewood ? money ? No my little timmy friends, he just doesnt want to play football where it only matters 4 times a season agaisnt the blue half of glasgow. Its the fact that all of the other games are against no hoper teams that make up a tin pot league. Yes celtic are massive (in Scotland nae Glasgow), they are one of two massive fish in a very small pond. There is no attraction for Europe with Celtic as looking at this coming season and with the squad you have they wont even make the second round of matches. The Newcastle fans clearly hold the view that Rovers have got the steal of the season. They are gutted. They now only have a ageing Shearer along with Chopra and Ameobi. They dont have massive money to purchase a triker and look like they are pinning their hopes on a big loan signing. And little 'ol BRFC, well were clearly happy with our cheap as chips purchase of CB. I cant wait until Newcastle come to Ewood for the televised clash. i am sure that with our decent record at home against the barcodes it will be scene set for the Bellamy show. Roll on the footie season -

I dont think for one minute Rovers would have splashed that much money on Bellamy if the season ticket sales were at 7k. There is no way the club could afford to lavish such an amount in the knowledge that 7-8k season ticket holders have not renewed. I dont accept that only 7k tickets have been sold at this present time. I would estimate it is probably something more like 10k. -
even the aussie captain admits we were far the better side. 3-0 anyone ?

A sad day for everyone in particular the victims and their families How cute of them the target innocents, children, workers, whites and coloureds, foreigners and tourists? How cute of them not to target the area in which it is proven that terrorism is preached to the highest order ? FINSBURY PARK I am startled to read that the likes of Bakri and co are still living in this country, are still spouting their utter crud and malice and are still being cared for with OUR taxes. Today is the start of a new beginning. Rid the country of the pc brigade rid the country of these extremists upset the do gooders with the above and send them on the next plane out with a one way ticket Its time for the Home Secretary to make a positive decision.
