totally what does that mean? shocking that price !

I would lovet o see Rovers win but am happy to settle for a point from this game, we must NOT lose it is as simple as that. I cant see any of the two teams going all out, both will play counter attack football. Southampton will play lump it to the big fella so Nelsen and Todd need to be on the ball. An early goal for Rovers would open the game up for the likes of Emerton and Reid, all we need is a goal scorer

for the record wba = (h) Rovers, Arsenal and Pompy (a) Villa, spurs,Boro and Manure Norwich = (h) manure,Newcastle,Charlton and Brum (a) Palace, Southampton and fulham Palace = (h) Norwich,Liverpool and Southampton (a) Everton, Rovers, Newcastle and Charlton Southampton = (h) Villa, Norwich and Manure (a) Rovers, Bolton, Portsmouth and Palace Simple maths says that The Rovers need to avoid defeat against Southampton and Palace and hopefully a win from the other home games against City and Fulham. my prediction wba to get a further 3 points norwich to get 3 points southampton to get 6 points palace to get 6 points Rovers to snaffle a further 11 points -
we purchased 28 tickets this morning NO PROBLEMO all for the North Stand so in our little party that makes a round figure of 48 and 22 of those are NOT regulars so we will try and convert them to full timers

i dont think anyone should have a moan about todays result. Initially I thought that it would simply be a goal difference boarding up exercise akin to the Arsenal game. I simply couldnt see manure scoring despite the chances and possession they had. Granted the post saved us and Brad was back to his best but praise has to be bestowed on Mokoena, Flitty and Matteo, not to mention NELSEN - absolutely outstanding. Poor old Stead must be wondering where that black cat he hit actually went, plenty of endeavour for no result. Rovers fully deserved their point, nice to see that red imp Thomas eating his words on the radio after the game. Roll on Saturday -

just been reading a few manure sources of media information and as well as the ref being red riley we also have this little lot to contend with clownaldo - box of cheating diving tricks the horse diver - not scored in 5 games since returning from injury (pl) roonster - no goals in 2 internationals ? our nemesis that is scholes - always finds the net against us giggs - bad misses for wales midweek keane - not booked during the week and will undoubtedly want to unleash his frustration on a blue and white shirt saha and smith - infuriating niggles and in and out of the team, just what Rovers need at the moment ! so as you can see it all points to a manure win !! -
The prospect of a semi final win is enthralling as a conversational topic. imagine the outcry that will be when an unexpected Blackburn win sends them into the cup final. then imagine the clamour for the tickets that will be like rocking horse crap ? then imagine the feelings of outrage when the ticket application is announced ? then imagine the outcry from some season ticket holders when the club announce that priority is being granted to supporters who have travelled to most of the cup matches but in particular the FA Cup semi final ? then imagine just how longstanding fans who feel they are entitled to a cup final ticket feel when they get refused ? and then finally imagine just who these supporters will blame when there is just 25000 tickets at most available to our club ? THE JOKE WILL BE ON THEM My advice SPLASH THE CASH FOR A ONCE IN A LIFETIME TRIP YOU JUST KNOW IT MAKES SENSE

11 quid in the Rovers store -
Scotty earlier this morning they wouldnt give a concessionary price for the North Upper for 9 year old, they wanted £45 !! Eventually settled for our tickets on row 15 of the lower tier

n2 in respect of the suggested selling figures, the word is from the ticket office only no other source !

SG the way it was put across is that Rovers have approx 7k tickets to be processed on Saturday. This is made up of postal application, faxed applications and thos eseason ticket holders who have ordered extra tickets. Now this morning I got 6 my mate got 6, I have ordered another 14 my mate has ordered another 16 but these cannot be processed until saturday at the earliest. my son is currently at ewood purchasing a furhter 5 tickets for our coach party. It is quite clear that a lot of people want to sit near each other and the limit of 6 tickets per person until 1st Apr is ensuring that people wait until they can do so. Any pobs go and speak to the young lad with the England shirt on at the ticket office. I am sure he will give you the same information
-
steaky, I hear your point but on this occasion there is NOT one season ticket holder who is not guaranteed a ticket for the semi final. Granted for games were crowds are limited, were tickets are going to be in short supply then YES have a ruling. On this occasion of our semi final appearance then it is clear that everything must be done to get Rovers fans down to Cardiff. Its plain and simple, Rovers will not take 30k fans. A bit of leeway with the sales may on this occasion ensure a turn out of around 23-25k

Just got back after an interesting 30 minutes at the ticket office. a few pointers To date Rovers have sold 7000 or plus tickets PLUS they also have a waiting list of approximately 7000 tickets that are being processed on Saturday (tickets purchased by season tickets holder for friends etc). As I stood at the window ordering my tickets along with my mate we tried to purchase tickets for 2 juveniles, 1 is 9 t'other is 11. Looking at the areas we saw that concessions were only being given for the family stand. As we all wanted to take our places on the famous North Stand we found that the ticket cost for these two kids was a massive £90.00. That price is ludricous. After a bit of chit chat with the member of staff, who might I add was extremely courteous and helpful, it became clear that although there are 5 adults with 2 kids we were not allowed to be in the family stand together. Quite shocking but after the intervention of the member of staff, we got our tickets with the concessions and ALL sat together. So a big fat PLUS for the club on that. They couldnt have been any more accomodating. As I awaited the booking of 12 extra tickets for our friends, (my mate was filling in his form), I entered a nice conversation with some of our female supporters who sit near us in the Lower Blackburn End. If your reading ladies you will remember the chat. Now these lovely ladies wanted 7 tickets in order that they could all sit together in the same stand. However, they only had the requirement criteria to obtain 6 tickets. I listened intently to their conversation with the staff but as I left they were still no nearer getting their tickets having travelled to the ground this morning. For the life of me, in the knowledge that we have only shifted a maximum of 50% of the available tickets, I cannot fathom out in any way, shape or form why the ladies could not have been given just 1 extra ticket. There is no way in this world that Rovers are shifting 30k tickets, Arsenal themselves are struggling to shift 20k plus. They told me of another longstanding supporter of 45yrs PLUS who simply could not be given an extra ticket and who is now contemplating missing out on this game through red tape beaurocracy. Its the same old story of a little rule being bended. AFTER ALL we will never be shifting more than 25k of the ticket allocation. This is an opportunity for Rovers to have alloowed fans to purchase an extra ticket just in case that said person was contemplating purchasing a season ticket or even just becoming a regular supporter. Rovers just cannot seem to get it right for some. I cannot and am not complaining as they sorted me and my mate out no problem. Its just that they seem unable to go that little bit further in trying to ease what surely is a very small problem. Anyhow Its all systems go. Cardiff here we come
-
well I am going to be there for about 10 days before the thing starts and as long as England are over there I will stay courtesy of a freebie !!! dont need to apply for any tickets, dont need to apply for accomodation and my fares are paid for. who's a lucky boy then ?

You forgot to add todays result is down to two things only Blackburn Rovers and Mark Hughes they were crap, they were outplayed, they were toothless, they were utter rubbish and Toshacks new midfield engine worked a treat didnt it ? looks like the wales factor has worn off big style after their stunning grand slam, now they have witnessed a slam dunk as well. -

Great read. I have two trains of thought on this one. Rovers have at some time got to have a little bit of luck in this game. Since the Premiership began we have NEVER had the rub of the green. It has always been against Rovers and never for. At the same time is there any team in the Premiership that can stop the United bandwagon from gathering momentum ? Rovers are either going to get a point or even snatch a win....... or..... they are going to be the whipping boys and leave with a 4-0 loss. Reasonings are that the horsediver, fatboy, clownaldo and the rest are going to get lucky and whoop someone. Rovers have only one way to approach this game and that is to ensure that clownaldo and scholes are marked man for man. Scholes is one of the best playmakers ever and we have seen first hand that he can score from nothing (Worthy Cup semi final 2nd leg comes to mind). Clownaldo is simply a cheating foreigner who on his day can get a penalty or free kick with a marvellous dive that would outscore an australiam high board diver. He must be stopped. Up front they are going to have horsediver and fatboy. vnd is going to score soon and I just hope that the 2nd cheating foreigner in their ranks doesnt get the kind of chance that Rovers often throw up to him at mould triffid. At the back they have the dope taker, the gob and an argy as well as the third in the trio of foreign cheats - sylvester the cat ! Rovers do not have the players up front to cause dopey and sylvester trouble although I expect Dickov to rattle their cages. Emerton and Reid both have pace in abundance and can cause trouble for the full backs. I clearly forgot to mention keane the thug. He is playing well and seeing as this is likely to be his last game against the Rovers (unless we meet at Cardiff) it is about time that a Rovers midfielder got the better of him. I have never condoned violence on a footie pitch but what better way to see him off that Flitty or Mokoena send him out and off with a crunching tackle. Rovers have got to mix it from the very first minute like they did chelski. Manure can easily be rattled, foolham proved that on Saturday. I would love to predict a Rovers win but my head says not. 1-0 manure -

I am pretty certain that Rovers have a far bigger budget than £5m. After all it was the lateness of the ferguson deal that stopped us from making a signing of a striker. add £3m for Fergy add £1.3m for the FA Cup run add £2m in saved wages from the players out of contract and leavers add £4m insurance money from the Dahlin affair PLUS next seasons transfer budget. realistic ? It certainly is -

those price estimates are their potential sales figures. I dont think anyone of you who watches football daily and the Premiership can argue that Arsenal have the finest set of youngsters ever seen on English shores. They will not have to pay out big fees for players with those players in their ranks and many many more.
