rad sorry if I offended you My view is simple. I have listened to the many tunes about Gers and Celts and every single one refer in some way to bigotry and religion. That cannot be disputed as all we hear is positives and negatives about "King Billy". One team flies the tricolour the other the "UJ". One supports the IRA t'other doesnt. one is catholic and one is protestant - although i accept the attempts to change this have repaed dividends ie MO JO etc.

rovermatt its only a big game for the scottish league and for its Irish followers, anywhere else it is meaningless. Christ its not even about pride its simply about religion, I know this as I have actually been to numerous old firm games having lived at Ibrox in the mid 80's. Your team may not have any fight about it, you certainly have little flair as was witnessed in that really entertaining game at Crewe. just to further the point longsider and every other dingle who is currently using this thread, the young Forest supporter was a lad with NO criminal history, NO arrest history and absolutley NO evidence whatsoever of being associated with football hooliganism , albeit one of his FRIENDS had previously been arrested at a football match. the numpty who actually bottled him or ash trayed him didnt even have the guts to own up to what he did and tried to make it out that the attack was in self defence. Funny thing is he was brave enough to chat about it in the pub shortly after. Dont ever recall that about the Rovers idiot who happened to throw a brick at Carlisle fans and was READILY pointed out and who actually admitted what he did. a simple view from the Blackburn End. Rovers showed much more togetherness like they did pre the last 3 1-0 losses. They also showed a capablilty to cock up in the centre of defence. Surprising choice of formation although it was pleasing to see us back to 4-4-2. MGP scored a fantastic goal, made the second and looked a lot more confident than in recent weeks. Dickov worked his socks off as did Savage. Not too many gripes about yesterday except, where was Stead ? Why does Mokoena always seem to be the weakest link when played in the back 4 ?
