It's looking like the club is forward planning with BBD, Khadra and none contract renewals probably leaving in the summer , if we don’t get promoted. It gives them 6 months to get upto speed, ready for regular first team involvement. Rather than a big turnover of players in the summer. Who would of thought it possible

I know nothing about Markanday of Spurs other than the 23s stats etc , but the fact he's turned down a new contract there for first team experience is a good sign . On a side note , if he can impact the first team, his Asian nationality could really benefit the club. Not just abroad , but locally with new supporters of Asian origin connecting with the player. I believe the club are being proactive on this and Markanday could really help. Good news on the new RB ,more quality young players please 👍

This talk of getting in experienced players for the promotion push sounds good, but surely its going to cost $$$. It sounds like we will spend some money this window but prudently , on players with potential. What TM said today about transfers , I personally found positive. "Young players that you polish up and in a year or so they think ‘wow, where’s he come from?’ “You have to see the raw talent with these players and there are a few young players on our radar" Thats not talking about loans with no option at the end . It wouldn't surprise me if money is available again for investment players like previously BBD , AA , Dack ,SG . As despite SG not hitting it , the others have been good investments and worked out well. I know nothing but hopeful there will be investment.

Need to get going in 2022 now and back to winning ways, as February looks a tougher month on paper . Plus I'm scared a little dip can turn into a spiral . Bit worried about the WB positions with Pickering out for a while and if R N is not available . I personally think BBD has been quite for a few games now. I know he's still popping up with goals , but it feels like he's getting less on the ball than in the last 9 months or so . 2 - 0 BBD and Khadra

Just asking the question. A few seem to be slating the Dolan at Wb decision, but also not offering there alternative , given the squad/ situation. At the end of the day it was a patchwork team with the League in mind / options available. If Pears didn't hopefully have the his worst day of his career, it would have been a win and the questions over Dolan etc wouldn't be as prominent. To be honest I'm glad we are out , full focus on the league and getting up 👍

How would you have set up then , with the options available , cup game and covid situation ?

If we are going to be successful this season we need to be lucky 🤞 We just don't have the same squad depth and resources as our competitors. In the years following Jack Walkers passing ( prior Venkys ), I always viewed us as the underdog and 👊 above our capacity , with shrewed acquisitions. We need this now and ongoing. If only the 5 mill previous spent on SG could have be spent on Khadra. Think he will become a excellent player. Reminds me a bit of Armstrong , but Khadra isn't up his own ass

True 👍 I forgot Dolan was even on the pitch most of first half. Bigger fish to fry this season. Willing to cut TM some slack today. If Pears didn't do his thing, it could have been a fairly simple win , with a patched up team in some positions. Best time to show the lack of quality squad depth, is when something can be done about it . Hopefully the rest of the month will be positive on that front.

I don't think there were many options today . Sure Buckley could have done WB and Dolan or Johnson starting in the middle . But it's swings and roundabouts , neither wound be perfect. Personally I'm not too worried about going out , a good dose of realism at a time when something can be done about it. A few unlucky games like today with injuries etc and our optimum will be gone . We need squad strengthening as it won't be as smooth sailing second half .

TM said prior to match , the choice was 20 min in first team game or 70 min in under 23 match and the 70 min would be more beneficial for his recovery 👍

Dolan is not a defender , was just there because of lack of options and needs game time . Anyone can see Dolan is not a planned replacement for Nyambe in defence/ wb

Bad day, but the best day to have it , as we were due one . Khadra is soooo clinical , wish he was our player. Granted if the Pears howlers didn't happen it probably would have been a 90 min win. I must admit when we were 2-1 down , I was OK with us going out . Just looking at the bigger picture . Hopefully that's the kick up the ass , without effecting league. Just another point when everything goes great, everything and every player seems X % better than they are . Bit like Disney's Cinderella , 🎃 to stagecoach etc just hope in 2022 things don't revert to previous 😂

Looked 100% committed tackling, surprised at his speed going into them to , no hesitation. Was like a missile Looked confident in attack aswell

TM recently said Buckley will have a fight on his hands for a place once Dack is fit . Most advanced of the midfield 3 . Also said even at 1/10 of the fitness required for the first team matches , he views Dack as the best player at the club
