  1. Always been a big Souness supporter, but after seeing how he's just up and left, I have lost all respect for the man. His passion and drive are admirable, but for me this has just put a big question mark over the entire thing.
  2. I think Sutton and Hartson might have something to say about that. If he backs his own ability, and thinks the premiership is a better league than scotland, which we all do, then it makes sense that you'd rather play in england.
  3. You mean because he had actually become a bit attached to our club and wasn't willing to jump at any oppurtunity to get out of here?
  4. Scotty...is there any point at all to what you post? Or do you just try and have a go at as many other board members as possible?
  5. Well I suppose that put me in my place then! After all...I spend my time arguing aimlessly with people online that a man should lose his job and coming up with ridiculous justifications and replacements...oh wait
  6. So he likes Rovers, and wants to get a job, as a result of this, the club will get rid of Souness and put him in place? I wouldn't mind being a manager, and I really like the look of Rovers, think they'll free something up for me?
  7. That makes no sense to me. I know he'll need time to adapt, but he has plenty of games under his belt and should be match fit and ready, if it takes him a dozen games I really would be surprised and slightly worried. Of course, if he does come good within even a couple of years, given his age, I would be fine with it.
  8. People who are saying that Souness doesn't give youth a chance are just spouting rubbish. Gallagher may be out of favour now, but he was brought through by Souness, same with McEvely, Dunn, Douglas and Danns. It's crucial that youth players are brought in at the right time, not too soon so that they don't have their confidence smashed, and not too late so that you can get them in the team for as long as possible. So far I think Souness hasn't really lost marks concerning younger players, his selection policy at the moment is odd, but not because he isn't adding young players to it.
  9. I guess the teams they have played in the last 42 games have all been "below par" as well.
  10. rover6...your signatures always make me smile haha. If it's not one campaign it's another.
  11. Well...we've just brought in Pedersen and Ferguson and Thompson will come back from suspension and injury.
  12. This Arsenal team is good...their players can score even when they don't play
  13. Well...it really was going to happen. Only good news really is that it should give me more points in the fantasy league.
  14. Don't you mean everyone must have fainted in order for him to have run past someone?
  15. I wish that, that was an option for some of us!
  16. According to Radio 5 live we've gone closest so far, with a good save from a Dickov shot. Beat me to it nelly
  17. Great News...that really makes me a bit happier about the situation at the club. It comes at a good time as I don't think I'll be that happy after the game tonight! A young player who may well excite the fans on the pitch, it's exactly what we needed. Also excellent that he's match fit and can be ready to go. Also, the great thing about already having De Pedro is that there is no way Pedersen could play the rest of our remaining games considering the number he must have already played in the Norwegian league without a break, so De Pedro is now an excellent back-up.
  18. But I think as being part of Europe, even as a non-member of the EU, there should be no need for a work permit. At least this is what I would think.
