  1. Remember who we are playing guys. I mean, good to win and all, but it doesn't make our strikers 10 goals a season men.
  2. True, but isn't he from Cincinnati and I think hewas getting at if they had a team there he would consider going back. Can't remember the exact quote though.
  3. I think Friedel has said that the only way he would leave us before he retires is if an MLS team is created in Ohio, which for the moment seems unlikely. I think he'll finish his career here, who knows maybe we can get him to stay on as a coach.
  4. I never saw Mimms, so I can't really comment, but of the ones I have seen I would rate it: 1. Friedel 2. Flowers 3. Filan
  5. I wouldn't rule out either Zambrotta or Cannavaro, while Emerson and Viera are both possible. I don't think Viera will care that much now about being the Arsenal man as he has gone somewhere else, while he may also want to prove himself again.
  6. I think they might. Might not even need deep pockets, player power will show.
  7. I like the one with the red sash as well, still have it, wasn't it the our special 125 year kit?
  8. Maybe so, but you'll look like a recluse freak. Very hot in Paris these days, I love it, though not always great when you live in an apartment.
  9. With the squad they have now, maybe. However, if they were able make their own squad, like he has, I think all "top" coaches would make a success of it and a lot of mediocre ones would as well.
  10. Ah ok, makes sense, don't need to really, just thought you might be using some strange tactics.
  11. Nice little preview. You must have an odd version of FM though, you have Roberts being injured by Neill (who is then sent off) and Brown (as in our keeper?) scoring.
  12. Certainly worth a poll, I would also be more inclined to buy though I have bought away strips in the past and will probably be buying this one. Perhaps something that BRISA could put forward to the club if we found that the majority were in support of it.
  13. I don't think the game is that easy, but I do think that if you manage a club in the top flight you are able to take risks and not have to worry about the clubs future like you would in real life. This allows you to bring in more players than you really would and also sell more players than you normally would. If you are finding the game to be very easy I suggest going to the lowest leagues in a place where you know no players (or turn on the name changing option).
  14. Who are you talking to?
  15. We shall see. If he gets the job I hope he does well, I just don't think he is the right man for the task.
  16. I'm not saying I wish to see the clubs forced under, I'm saying I don't think this will change the state of the Italian game. I really couldn't care less who wins the Serie A title next year.
  17. My problem with the Germans was more the calling for cards and applauding and patting the ref on the back when he gave them, not nice to see, give me a stamp over that any day (and I mean that).
  18. Considering the way financing goes for most European clubs, yes. It spoils this season and probably next for them, but in the long run it won't do much.
  19. Hm, rather pointless then.
  20. I thought Milan were losing 44 points from this season and 15 from the next, as in they start on -44 this year. I've only really looked at it once though so I could easily be wrong.
  21. You have to say you could still see them getting a play-off place, but I would suspect they'll fall just short of that and still stay up.
  22. I think this is a big blow for the USA. I'm not a huge Arena fan but I thought he was good for the American game, Klinsman did well with Germany, during the World Cup, but I have my doubts whether he will be able to handle a less talented side (not that Germany had a huge amount of talent) not playing at home. Not at all the same task and I don't think he is the right man for the job.
  23. shivni would be me and that is the only way I win...so let's keep it that way!
  24. I think he has 14 (or around there), which is a very high number.
