I think Mowbray is taking the p1ss now and, IMO, knows his comments will be inflammatory with some - would he do this if he knew he had a future here?
IMO, Mowbray has descended into Kean and Coyle territory.
Humble, honest, a man of integrity? Not in my book.

So why is he still there Mercer given your info?
Why is it raining today when the weather forecast yesterday said it would be fine!?
Seriously though, I posted an update yesterday and then decided to hide it after a few minutes - some on here might have seen it before I hid it. Decided to hide it because I didn't want to set the hares running again.
All I will say is that my understanding now is it's got a bit more bigger and complicated. I still think there is a fair chance Mowbray will not be in charge on Saturday.
Will be interested in where @oldjamfan1 thinks we now are.
If I've been sold a dud and none of this happens, as posted previously, I will retire to my wines from this MB.

Pressers on a Thurs before or after training normally ?
Don't know what they are bothered about anyway all the questions he'll get will be loaded for the usual easy stock replies.
Should be interesting as I suspect neither Sharpe nor Bayes expected Mowbray still to be in situ..
Think it will be a tad prickly given Bayes' pre match comments on Monday and Sharpe's subsequent articles.

Can we get this in writing?
Not that I don’t like you, it’s just quite the hill to die on. Must have some serious faith in him leaving.
Haven't I posted it in writing!?
Off for a long walk now - pity no pubs open to get a pint or two and a bite to round off the day.

Oh ye of little faith.
Okay, so it's not happened by 3.00 pm today but I still confidently think it will happen tomorrow if not today.
If it doesn't, I will resign from this MB and retire to my wine collection as I'm sure it will be more pleasurable!

I certainly don't claim to be 'ITK' at all but shortly after the final whistle yesterday I received a text from someone extremely close to the club - not the playing or coaching side - who doesn't normally gossip (he can't afford to, it would cost him his job) who, unsolicited, told me that Waggott had been instructed to act. All this talk of being sacked today and announced at 3pm didn't come from me, I didn't hear any specifics at all.
However, I am very confident that something is happening in relation to the manager, but people posting "Its not happening is it?" every 5 minutes on here doesn't help alleviate the general twitchiness that fans are feeling just now.
Was it wrong of me to share that info? Maybe. But that's partly what I thought these message boards were designed for.
I made two or three posts very soon after the game finished based on, like @oldjamfan1, what I'd heard post match. It was my understanding that he'd be gone by 3.00pm today and maybe Waggott as well if he'd been cornered and perhaps was unwilling to act.
Within any organisation there are flourishing grapevines and football clubs are no different. I would be surprised if Mowbray's position had not been the source of speculation within the club for a little time now. Speculation within an organisation is inevitable and folk do 'leak'!
Contract terminations are not always straightforward and can be fraught with difficulties so if this speculation is correct and indeed has legs, it may run on a little while yet.

Ahh the classic "yeah but he's saying it too".. thing is you've posted stuff like this for weeks, throwing enough shit at the wall until it eventually sticks.
I wouldn't find it boring in the slightest, regardless if there aren't any posts where I'm being given hope based on little or no evidence.
Once I know Mowbray and Waggott have gone I'll be over the moon, at least until we employ Keith Andrews or someone similar.
Strangely enough, these are my first postings for a little while owing to an absence of a few weeks due to personal circumstances.
At least get your facts right.
Try painting a door and watching it dry, you might find it interesting!

You think what you like.
What I've posted is in line with what @oldjamfan1 also understands to be the position.
This is a MB for fans to express thoughts, opinions, share titbits etc and if folk stopped posting as such, it would be a boring old place.

I'm sure you and @oldjamfan1 have your sources, I just don't imagine there's any real desire to sack TM. Waggott might even be doing the whole 'if you sack Mogga, I'll walk' which might be inconvenient for Venksters if Waggott is in charge of the Brockhall redevelopment like he claims he is.
I'm just a pessimist when it comes to Venky's. They are clueless, as we all know.
As I posted yesterday, I understand Waggott's been backed into a corner. Would be no surprise to me if he also heads through the exit door.

Rich Sharpe is the new hero of the hour...even though it's took him this long to write an article that is anywhere near close to the truth of just how inept Mowbray is.
The cynic in me thinks that if the local journo's are slagging Mowbray then they've already had word he's on his way.
Nail on head!
Last 24 hours have been a bit out of character for both Bayes and Sharpe.

No mate. My connections are possibly better than his 😉
And incidentally, I’m not really one to give it any ITK crap, but I’m told by someone I trust implicitly, and that is in a position to know, that TM will be gone within a couple of days.
As I said, 'Think he'll be gone by 3.00 pm tomorrow. Maybe Waggott too - some serious noise'.
My understanding is Waggott is now backed into a corner.
IMO, a racing certainty - if only I could get a feckin bet upon this happening.

Why, what's changed?
Did they expect him to pick up a result against Bournemouth when he's just lost to Wycombe?!
Pressure certainly mounting generally.
Think LT and Radio Lancs have at last read the script - think the knives are going in.

Will not buy any ST's whilst Waggott, Mowbray and Venus are here.
I don't trust any of those three and, IMO, it's all about me, me and me with them.
Only If Venky's appoint a top class CEO and Manager would I commit to the club.

I think our midfield mix isn't right and With Douglas and Nyambe as full backs. I think we might have been better playing 3-5-2 this season
Its depends on the squad you have and what's suits the squad. Our current squad doesn't suit the way Mowbray wants to play. So he needs to adapt
Mowbray put the feckin squad together!

Leadership and clarity is needed from our owners and senior executive management.
Publicly, they should back him or alternatively sack him.
To say or do nothing are not options.
