Was driving through Dinckley earlier tonight (about a mile from Brockhall) and one of my lads swears Dyche passed us in his car. Personally took no notice but my lad says it was a distinctive personal reg that suggested it was Dyche's car (not going to post the reg on a MB). Not a wind-up, make of it what you will.

Wrong again when talking about me. Coyle was NOT my man - I did neither advocate nor endorse his appointment. Yes I did refer to him as 'Coyley' but NEVER 'Wee Coyley'. Mowbray got us relegated - in his own words at Blues, he was appointed to keep us up. He failed, simple as that. As for Mowbray and today's game, I have posted at least twice since Thursday (once in response to you I think) that before meeting Waggott on Wednesday even Mowbray didn't know he was taking the team today to Brum. Your mate Sharpe covered this. Clearly, there was a doubt about whether he would still be here this weekend. So why raise it again - a moot point. You love having a go at me but the most galling thing is at best you distort the facts or at worse get them plain wrong!

I don't have an ounce of sympathy for Mowbray. I think he is very different from the personal persona the public get fed. IMO, should have been sacked a number of times since arriving at Ewood. Firstly when we were relegated - no excuses, he was hired to keep us up. The last two second half seasons have have been disastrous. In over 5 years, our club should be way, way further down the line in terms of development, performance and achievement. IMO, good riddance to a man whose 5+ year journey has turned out to be a great illusion perpetrated by a man who puts himself first. I think his legacy is a club built on pillars of sand.

I am surprised Mowbray is stlll 'in the building'. This has similarities to the noise that was about in April 2021 when it seemed Mowbray could have been very close to the exit door. Clearly from Sharpe's article, until yesterday, it seems even Mowbray was unclear whether he'd be in charge at Brum. "There is nothing really to report. Nothing has changed as far as I am concerned. I asked whether he would like me to take the team to Birmingham and he said yes and that is what we have done".

Dyche's record and cv are far more impressive than Farke's. Dyche has shown he can keep a team on limited resources in the PL - Farke failed in this respect at Norwich. Dyche v Farke would be a no brainer for 99% of Rovers' fans. I think Mrs D will wake up tomorrow morning and probably recall why she has put an alarm on her phone for Friday AM UK time!

Well done Parker and Bournemouth. When it came to the crunch they came through, unbeaten in last 7 games gathering 13 points - some bottle job that! Don't give a monkeys what they spent - from what I've seen, well coached with good organisation and playing very good football.

I have asked you this before. You are lying in a hospital bed in need of a life saving operation and the consultant surgeon is not only an avid Burnley supporter but also a director of the club. Would you let this 'Dingle' operate on you and save your life or would you pass away thinking at least I had nothing to do with a 'Dingle'. I could not give a toss whether our next manager is black, white, brown, yellow, catholic, protestant, ex Burnley, ex Preston or indeed ex any football club - the only thing we need to be concerned about is his ability to bring success.

Maybe fear. I think they thought they bought a 'marketing vehicle' which would help make Venky's a recognisable brand world wide. Sadly, I think we all know what happened next - they were naive and badly advised (and perhaps still are) with too many in it for themselves. As a result, our fortunes plummeted and with £200million down the drain and seemingly no end to this hemorrhaging of money they are left with, arguably, a basket case of a club. They must sit there wondering what they have done, why and what they do next.

A market is first set when bookies / traders / marketmakers whatever you want to call them set their odds based on their view of the relative chance of each market end result. They will factor in the credibility/strength of each candidate, existing circumstances/conditions and where they think the money will go. There will be far more 'variability' in a market for a Rovers' manager than there would be in a market for say a Liverpool manager as realistically there would be many more 'options' for the Rovers' post as opposed to the Liverpool post (far fewer genuine candidates of right calibre). Those odds will fluctuate based on additional/new information and where the dollar is going. More confidence in the market through more information will drive more liquidity. Applying this 'logic' then it should be no surprise, currently, to see Ainsworth and Farke with the shortest of odds at circa 3/1. Leaks from within the club or from Pune could see odds on an individual like McInnes dramatically slashed to evens or odds on.

“Whether that starts next season, or tomorrow, I’m not sure" - I don't think even Mowbray knows whether he will be here tomorrow!

and Benson!

I think it's astounding there has been no statement from Waggott regarding Mowbray's position and all the staff leaving. IMO, leadership and effective communication are in extremely short supply at Ewood. Someone needs to get a grip and pdq.

Got it.

You have posted several times Mowbray chased Maja for 12 months but couldn't sign him due to financial constraints - where in LT does it say that? It doesn't. Just Gav nonsense. You posted today "You had Ayala ‘Absconded’ before the Blackpool game". Definition of abscond - leave hurriedly and secretly, typically to escape from custody or avoid arrest. I NEVER used that word - you did. I merely posed the question would Ayala be there in response to a post from Tom about players not being present at Ewood and further went on to respond to J*B's post stating I thought all 1st team squad members should be present at home games in a sign of togetherness. No insinuation, no bullshit, just valid and rational observations. Not me who needs to stop digging my friend.

Re Maja - you have gone on and on and on and on that Mowbray chased Maja for 12 months and he was unable to sign him as Bordeaux wanted a fee and Venky's wouldn't back Mowbray. The facts according to your 'font of all knowledge' source Sharpe seem to be: Rovers were set to sign him on a season long loan in August but he failed his medical "Tony Mowbray played down any links to the 24-year-old in this window (January)" "Bordeaux are willing to let Josh Maja leave this month – but would prefer a permanent deal" - however, he ended up at Stoke on loan so presumably we could have got him on loan should Mowbray wanted to!!! Where in this article does it say Mowbray would have been willing to pay a fee provided Venky's would have backed him? Furthermore, given Mowbray "played down the links" in the January window suggests Mowbray no longer wanted to sign him in January - indeed Mowbray came out and said he didn't want to sign a 'traditional' centre forward. You have constantly banged on about Mowbray chasing Maja for 12 months and being denied being able to sign him due to lack of funds. I think your assertion is shown to be nonsense. Re Ayala and Blackpool match. @Tom posted "Apparently JRC went home after not being on the bench, if true Tony has to stamp that sort of thing out" I responded to Tom posting "On match days at Ewood, every member of the first team squad including those outside the 18 named squad should be there watching and supporting. Be interesting if anyone can spot Ayala!?!?" @J*B posted "I’m not sure what the point you’re making is but Ayala was one of the first to arrive and has been on the pitch with the squad" I then posted in response tp J*B "Point I'm trying to make is it should be about togetherness. Without exception, every single member of the 1st team squad should be at Ewood on match day. Pleased Ayala is there". Does that say Ayala, to use your words had "absconded". No it doesn't. My initial post was in response to Tom's post and I made the point it would be interesting to see if Ayala was there given his prolonged absence. I would hardly say J*B 'called me out' as you said and I think my response to him is self explanatory. I think you are a sh1t stirrer Gav who needs to stop being selective, stop distorting what I post and concentrate on getting your facts and allegations right.
