I think I will break down emotionally if we lose. If you see someone fall from the roof of Ewood at full time, it was me. -
[Archived] Rovers 0-2 Everton

I feel thoroughly sick and depressed. This is another relegation battle which will finish by us just surviving at the end of the season. Then Bellamy, Nelson and Pedersen will decide to jump ship. Then it'll be the end of Rovers as we know them and we'll become an average Division One side for years to come. No Jack Walker in the future (he really was one in a million). Rovers fans to search the internet for the easiest ways to commit suicide or hire hitmen to gun down all those referees who have done us injustice time and time again over the years. -
1. How many shockingly poor corners did Gamst provide? Was he actually going for goal on all those occasions? (apart from one where he did an outswinger) 2. And from my angle, I wasn't 100% certain that it wasn't a penalty. But I guess it didn't matter in the end. 3 quality strikes - van Persie loves to score against us. 3. Don't know about the Arsenal fan but there was a rather annoying young girl/brat behind me who kept shouting out some sort of limerick gibberish. I've seen more intelligent monkeys... 4. Are we fighting fire with fire? Savage went down, clearly trying to get reyes booked - wasn't proud of that! 5. Overall, I left Highbury not subdued (as we had created chances of our own and never once did Arsenal look very comfortable and dominating) but not satisfied either (how many away games have we lost this season already?! We've had to endure crap season after crap season - with Bellamy and zura, I really felt optimistic this time round but we've already suffered numerous defeats as well as that embarrasing loss at Ewood to Souness). What are the chances that next saturday we'll be drawing 0-0 to Everton before we get scoused in the last minute? EDIT: Kuqi is not a premiership player. Forget finishing - that cross of his was awful. I wanted to vomit.

What's the harm though? He gave somethng to the industry and now the industry wants a minute silence.

I'll try to be in the drayton too after 11am. On my own like a saddo.

Aw man. You're so lucky! I have to face a 40 minute walk back home from Highbury...

A friend texted me to say that he went to the match and very nearly died of boredom -
Arsenal 4 Blackburn 0 Biased referee can't hide his glee at the final whistle, playing an extra 5 minutes in the hope a fifth.

Good to be back then eh Barry?
-
Has he been sacked then? Hard to tell amongst the usual pleasanteries (that are the statements released by both parties). The first thing I did think of was Celtic and then Petrov. Just maybe...?
-
Or place players horribly out of position.

No Barton, no competition in mid-field. If Sibierski is put on as a last resort and try to do a Peter Crouch job (cannot hold the ball and is only a good header) then they may scrape a draw. I'm going for a 2-2 draw with Cole and Vassel followed by Zurab and Pedersen. Bellamy to shine in the recovery on a dreary and very wet afternoon in Manchester. -

I started a Masters League with 5 stars and the original ML team (Minanda et al) and though it is tougher to score relative to PES 4, I managed quite a few 1-0 wins to promote the Rovers (despite a 2-0 defeat to edited Bumley!!) Love this game even more than PES4. The max drive sounds promising and at only £10... -
what do you mean removed but not sacked?

Hey I joined almost the same time as floppy and look at our post counts! So yeah, I agree good win for Celtic against Rangers last night.

I've just seen the goals right now from the game as I've been away all week. What the heck was Emerton thinking?! "Looks like this defender is shepherding me towards the dreaded touchline!! l Think I'll shoot from here" While the defender's thoughts probably included something that rhymed with "clucking bell"... -

I know that as soon as I predict an easy Rovers win, at full time we'll be red faced and angry as to how Brum managed to steal 3 points off us. So I'll go and say, Rovers 2 Birmingham 2 With Bellamy and Savage scoring our goals and some buffoon for them. -
EARTHQUAKE!!!

OUI OUI OUI!!! Sitting in a cafe here in Paris in my old haunt Place de la Sorbonne when I got a text about us leading 1-0 at HT and that Chelski had conceded a goal. Wasn't sure which was a bigger surprise. When I got a text stating simply Man Utd 1 - 2 Blackburn, I looked for the nearest internet cafe after asking him whether he typed that in right. So we lose 3-0 at home to Newcastle gift wrapping first goals for Messeurs Shearer and Owen. And then go do the inevitable. And we appear to have leapfrogged many in the table as well... My drinks tasted that little bit sweeter last night at the Bastille. Cheers Scotty for your match report!

Hi folks. Well today, I had breakfast in Carcassonne, lunch in Toulouse and dinner here in Biarritz and have just found out the score today. Je veux vomir.
