  1. Past hour
  2. I don’t think we will get the satisfactory window as what fans want and can see the team needs doesn’t match what Rudy and co sees agreed with above but I think one more forward likely loan deal will be our lot
  3. 100 percent. The only way Pasha can dig himself/venkys out of a pitch size hole is splashing the cash. No other promises/platitudes etc would flip the current narrative. Perhaps, if as rumoured, he has been in India for a while, it has been to loosen the purse strings. A good window with 3 or 4 expensive signings before the Watford game, confirm the Baradji signing and a promise at the end of the window that the owners will fund the pitch improvement without it affecting transfers. Then claim this was always the plan. Job done, pressure lifted. Then recoup the money by selling Alebiosu in summer and not doing the pitch properly.
  4. Cleary is going to be bought by a team like Fulham and then loaned out for two years on the trot.
  5. He will be ok in midfield with time, not his fault Val put him up front
  6. What? What do you see to cling on to?
  7. Even if it was out of position, that game time might just do him a big favour. I haven't given up on him just yet, it's been a poor start but there does seem something about him .
  8. Hopefully Jorgensen really give our poor attack a major boost. Good to see us spend reasonable money on a player on a long term deal. Also, it seems like he might bring some speed to our attack which is crucial so I am looking forward to seeing him. Hard to know what to make of his career or how exactly he will fit in. Hasn't been prolific even in the lower leagues in Denmark but he seems to have played much of his football as a winger so its hard to judge him on that. Question is, will he slot straight into a front 2 and be at his most comfortable? We also have some recent very bad experiences with signing players from inferior foreign leagues who have failed to step up. That being said, often the demand of "Championship experience" is used but especially up front on our budget, if you prioritise that you are getting the dregs. Its a position in particular that you are probably better off looking for value elsewhere so hopefully we have found it. Will he be ready to be involved straight away? We need him to hit the ground running but I think due to the different seasons in Scandanavia, he won't be match fit and there may be red tape. Also, is Donnum happening aswell as or is it a mix up from Jackson? There is a player with big question marks about how he fits in positionally, but one performing at a high level in a strong league.
  9. I feel l8ke henriksson just needs a goal or something to ingnite his confidence, feel there's an effective player in there. But like most thexsquad he's probably hampered by having a poor arse manager
  10. Yeah, I'd say another 3-4 minimum needed in the next week or two, including some of Ismael's requested experience and then we can say a good window.
  11. I don't think Donnum is confirmed yet.
  12. Potentially no more getting on the pitch either...
  13. Bodo paid 3.5 million euro for him a year ago ,surely they wouldn't be taking that much of a loss on him so it will be around that figure
  14. It’s still a step in the right direction regardless
  15. Not sure if it has been mentioned, but Jorgensen requires an ESC slot as he only has 10 points. I think that takes our last slot. Donnum, on the other hand, easily qualifies for a permit with 26 points.
  16. Correct still doesn’t change my view I think a 4million bid from a prem team gets its done hope no bid is put in I like him and it’s clear without him we aren’t the same going forward but the prem pull is big too big to not have your head turned considering we’re fighting relegation to league 1
  17. This looks like a potentially decent signing but I do find it bemusing that this '£3 million' figure is now being thrown around as fact when there's very little to go off other than one man's tweet that said the deal 'could rise' to £3 million. That's presumably with all sorts of add ons and bonuses triggered down the line, not cash up front. Yet of course the Venky defenders are out in force saying this is evidence of their backing and benevolence, of course overlooking this pretty much makes up for the Hyam fee they trousered on deadline day in the summer.
  18. The only reason the option doesn't get taken up is if his form dips hugely or he becomes injury-ridden. For the purposes of a transfer, it is an extra year on his deal, giving us better bargaining power for a big money sale.
  19. Tell you who will be happy Henriksson. No more getting flogged out of position
  20. @Herbie6590 live from the dungeon 👀🤣
  21. Well happy with this. His last match was away at Dortmund in the CL. Bodø Glimt faces man city on Tuesday. Here is the farewell story from the Glimt website (google translate, I’m in a hurry): JØRGENSEN LEAVES BODØ/GLIMT: "HAD A GREAT TIME" About six months after Mathias Jørgensen came to Bodø and Glimt, he is now moving forward in his career. The next stop for the Danish winger is Championship club Blackburn Rovers. "It's really exciting. A club rich in tradition. It's a dream to play in English football. I don't know if I feel quite like myself right now, because there are a lot of impressions here," he says on the phone from his new hometown. The 25-year-old was brought to Glimt from Danish Aalborg in the summer of 2025, and has played 15 games for Bodø/Glimt during his time in Bodø. Jørgensen has scored five goals, including in the Champions League play-off match against Sturm Graz in Klagenfurt this summer. There are two things I would like to highlight as my highlights in Glimt. The first thing is to be with all the good people who are in the club and in the city. From a sporting point of view, you might think that playing in the Champion League has been the biggest thing, he says and continues; "But I think when we played our way into the Champions League in Austria is the biggest moment. It was great to see how much it meant to everyone in and around the club to play in there. His last significant game for Bodø/Glimt was the 2-2 draw in Dortmund on 10 December. Jørgensen brings a silver medal from the Eliteserien and a Champions League adventure in his luggage over to the ball island. "I've had a great time in Bodø. It has gone fast. I've enjoyed every single second. Both sportingly and the people I have met. They have become people I have become very, very fond of. "I leave Bodø as a much, much, much better player. Being able to train with such a good team and such good players has meant that this opportunity has now come. It's for sure that I've become a better player. FK Bodø/Glimt would like to thank Mathias Jørgensen for all contributions to the club and wish him the best of luck in his career at Blackburn.
  22. Yeah but why would his wife being pregnant mean Tolouse would loan him out? He has been starting hasn't he I could see why the player might be open to a loan move to be nearer his wife but why would his club?
  23. Permanent would be the wise thing then
