He did ok at first but not unexpectedly faded as the game went on. He was getting caught in possession quite often. He should have been subbed off on the hour. I’d say he’s a decent prospect and he has youth on his side. -

Ah bollocks I was going to get it for my Dad for Christmas with our names in, but I've just gone on and seen it's offline. Ah well. -
I wouldn't class any of them as great prospects. I doubt any of them will make championship level
-
From the tiny bit I saw, Isaac Dunn looks a great prospect

I hope VI has the confidence and conviction to not play Tyjon if he doesn't deem it beneficial to the team in the short term. I've made my feelings on this clear, I have no interest in blooding him this year to improve him on the chance that he signs a contract, especially if it's at the potential expense of Championship points. Sign and play. Otherwise, best of luck.

A left footed player on the left hand side, who’d have thought it ? -

The game passed him by. I’m still waited for that “ Wow “ moment that tells you there’s a special talent there. Wharton took me about 5 minutes. -

He missed a sitter in the second half when it was 2-2. If I was scout for a lower division league team looking to loan a left back in January I’d be looking somewhere else. -
Never quite sure what this competition proves apart from the young uns are miles off. Rochdale started one player from game at weekend so we are basically playing a reserve side.
-
Decent first half, poor poor second. We never came out after half time. Also we never looked like coming back after going 3-2 down. We lost too many 50-50 balls. The subs were way too late, we were getting over run in central midfield after 55 minutes. Nobody is going to be knocking on the managers door tomorrow asking even for a place on the bench. Tijon ? The game passed him by, he’s certainly not an No 9 in a million years. Although he did win the John Buckley award for the most pointless booking in the game. They looked like a team that is used to losing to me. I expected more from Batty. Joseph came on too late and never got a pass.

Doherty always full of energy and takes players on. Nice to watch Joseph for the first time. Looks a unit but not offered any service here.

pretty sure you can have 3/4/5 (unsure on exact number) overage players Doherty just did more in his first minute than Mullarkey-Matthews did all game
-
Some shocking defending on display, though. Batty put in the softest challenge and Dale get time in the box to set up a point blank header. 3-2
-
I take it there's some age rules attached to this fixture? Would have been a good game to get De Neve and Gueye minutes - assume you literally have to be U21?
-
Litherland looks very, very good breaking from defence. Chris Smalling comes to mind
-
Despite signing 10,only 3 new players started on Saturday. Obviously injuries and suspensions will be a factor, but it will be interesting going forward to see how that changes. It will maybe be a good indication of just how successful the window was. I'm more intrigued than anything, beyond Dolan and Britain, can't say I'm too fussed about the ones who've left.
-
Think they'll be taking Tyjon off shortly, he looks injured.
-
I do wonder how Mullarkey-Matthews found himself anywhere near the first team squad in pre season, even given our lack of wide players at the time, Doherty (who is currently on the bench) has much more about him Purely because he is a big lad for a wide player and quite physical?
-
Hopefully Joseph gets off the bench to play that role alongside him in the 2nd half
