  1. Past hour
  2. Agree. De Neve/kargbo, Cantwell, Tyjon, Hedges/ New signing are unknown qualities and players who don’t contribute enough in terms of Goals and assists. Relying on Gueye and Ohashi to both bag a hat full. This RW signing has to be spot on and someone with the quality to add goals/assists to the team. Definitely need another CAM/striker
  3. That's not quite accurate. In the podcast, he says he'll stay abroad for as long as possible and that he's open to staying with Rovers, but he hasn't received any concrete offer from them.
  4. Not having a striker lined up is baffling. We have never replaces Szmodic. When Ohashi was signed last year, Eustace referred to him as the Telalovic replacement (similar outlay). Gallagher went and Makhtar arrived (clearly like for like). Szmodic left and no replacement. Leonard isn't reliable injury wise and Tyjon isn't going to lead the line. There is a serious lack of goals in the side.
  5. Did you not give off to me last week for copying and pasting something you had said last year - calling me a troll? Now you’re looking for someone to do the same because it may suit yourself. Funny that
  6. May as well as have our captain take a dump or the boots of his opposite number whilst we are at it πŸ˜‰
  7. Struggling to find a Twitter post about the Netherlands friendly you said was posted days before my post? Think your estimate is as abysmal as the rubbish you post about me. For the benefit of other MB users and their enjoyment of this MB, can I suggest you park the personal and abusive vendetta you have for me.
  8. He had more than a "great finish." He was excellent all season, seems to be fit for the majority of the time now, and has really improved defensively. Also is our only capable crosser. A huge miss.
  9. Can see what type of players VI is targeting. Big athletic players that can carry the ball and cover the ground. Fingers crossed they can hit the ground running. If we can get Baradgi over the line and add a decent Rw we should have enough to survive next season. But this also depends on no more key outgoings. Another striker is needed and would love to go back for Muhammad from Nantes
  10. He is not at the level of a fully fit Pereira (assuming gets back to his previous levels), & James Justin & Van Ewijk are on at least a similar level to Brittain. But he is right up there
  11. I respectfully disagree with this. Had a great finish to last season, great going forward but thinks there’s a lot that are better than him. Seems to be injured a fair bit and average defensively. I honestly don’t think we will miss him much.
  12. I agree. Other members must get p1ssed-off with their antics but I will not sit back and allow them to post rubbish about me and make cretinous comments.
  13. So, with eight days to go before the start of the season we're five forward players down on what we had by the end of the January window. Not that there's any cause for concern or anything.
  14. I would estimate your hit record at a generous 2%. Not that it matters, by all means post your predictions and opinions as that is what keeps the messageboard going.
  15. A small positive then. Actually looking forward to seeing how the dynamics in this squad work. Could be good who knows!
  16. Brittain is the best RB in the championship.
  17. Especially if he is planning to return to Norway,
  18. Realistically, Tronstad doesn't have much of a transfer value given his age. It therefore makes sense to keep him for another year and I think that's what we will do. Trav, on the other hand, would command around a Β£3-4m fee and is clearly not signing a new contract so we have to cash in if a bid comes in near that price. He will want to go and earn more given this will be his last big pay day.
  19. I believe they are (why else the requirement to provide the info?).
  20. Did the same v Qatar We could at least have given them Pasha.
  21. But surely those League 1 seasons wouldnt be measured in the same Β£39m per 3 years framework? Similar to if a club has been in the Premier League where I think its Β£105m over 3 seasons. If a club has been in the Premier League twice and Championship once over 3 seasons, it would be Β£35m + Β£35m Β£13m = Β£83m permitted losses. Surely each year within the 3 comes under the FFP framework of the league they were in at the time.
  22. Huge surge of posts but nothing has actually happened.
  23. and a fair part of what I post turns out to be correct! What is the infamous Nicko's 'hit' record!? Name me a sporting journalist with even a 70% 'hit' record regarding manager and player movements? Jackson is our local journalist and I think you could count on one hand his exclusives since being in post. I said atm (at the moment) Derby were leading the way - I stand by that but as I have already pointed out, the Hackney money for Middlesbrough was a subsequent game changer. Is that so difficult for you to grasp and understand!? I don't profess to be an ITK. I merely post in good faith. If I hear something and I think it can be shared on a MB then I do - is that not part of what this MB is about! IF the game in the Netherlands had been posted on Twitter days before I posted then why did the likes of you, Chaddy or any other poster who uses Twitter on this MB not post about it - very unusual!?!? I posted about the Netherlands game on 20th July - copy and paste the Twitter post you claim (presumably Twitter posts are date stamped) to have seen "days before you (meaning my post) said". A common tactic of yours in trying to runbbish what I post - 'I've seen it elsewhere', how feckin sad. "Even if you arent on there, whoever told you probably saw it on there". How many feckin times do I need to say, I am not part of the Twatterati. For your information, I was told about the arranged match by a Rovers' employee.
  24. Not a clue mate, didn't give off MD vibes.
  25. Was it the MD. Martin you spoke with? No reason to make this more conspiracy then necessary.
