Like I repeatably told you my opinion on Ismael will be judged on results and performances. How many more times do you really need telling but every head coach/manager will complain about penalty decision not given like I just watched Marco Silva has for Fulham. I agreed with Ismael on the Ipswich game and the EFL were wrong in the decision, you of course won't agree there. -
We know. So why would beating Ipswich have made any difference?

like I said yesterday, I don't know what Elliott Jackson has been ban for. What comments or articles did the club banned for. Still none the wiser. No club should banned any media journalist from games or press conference. Rovers and LT plus Jackson need to sit down today/tomorrow and sort out this out where LT and Jackson will be at Tuesday night game covering the game -
My comment wasn't to do with the manager or results. It was in regard to the board and the rumours about the bad treatment of people. The statements and the personal attack on Jackson is the closest we've seen to that being backed up publicly. Really poor and concerning way of handling business from the club.

You are on a rampage of trying to defend Ismael no matter what (without committing to saying that you think hes a good manager or that you are totally happy with him) that you ae not really addressing or reading the posts you are replying to in doing so. As seen by your posts about the Ipswich performance in the LT thread which has very little or even nothing to do with the posts you have quoted. Its not just Ismael. The Lancashire Telegraph stuff has nothing to do with him. The club is being run into the ground and they seem keen to redirect the blame elsewhere at the moment. Ismael is a pretty poor manager but well down the list of problems. -
This is a thread about the LT being banned. Ghost7 says “I feel like a new low has been hit over the weekend and there must be some very rotten and incompetent people in charge at Ewood. They've pretty much proved all the rumours right. 😔”. On this thread he’s clearly talking about a Jackson being banned. You reply with “And just go back a week and if we had beaten Ipswich, its would another different story ” So I’m asking why if we had beaten Ipswich, then the main story if the weekend which Ghost7 is referring to, the childish banning of the LT, would be a “different story”. Instead of asking you to explain, I could have just quoted you and replied Ehhhhh ????????????????

That’s insane!!!!! This should be a safe platform but I guess them lot have snoops everywhere -
The new low in the post you replied to was the club trying to silence any and all reasonable reporting by getting a decent bloke fired simply because he reported facts. Not the Charlton result. I cannot believe how far we have fallen from the values of the family-feel underdog club we were under John Williams. Venkys have done so much worse than get us relegated (twice). They've corrupted the essence of everything Blackburn Rovers used to stand for.

Trust me there were more Rovers fans at Charlton moaning about Ismael that there were moaning about the referee. He made a big thing about the referee allegedly 'winking and laughing' at Cantwell. I think this was simply a deflection tactic from Ismael after a wretched performance. If they have a complaint about what the referee had supposedly done then that should go through the official channels and not the media. -

Feels like we have a few players who may have played crap yesterday but should definitely start. Toth, Cantwell, Morishita, Wharton, Tronstad. Then in the other positions, its just about playing those who are the least crap or the least out of position. Pickering didnt do enough so put Ribeiro back in. We only have 2 centre backs so even though hes left footed, McLoughlin in and Miller at RB. Not square pegs in round holes. As expected, there is a big hole upon Travis leaving next to Tronstad. Baradji signed up to the physio room. Tavares is dreadful. TGH probably the best bet although theres a reason Birmingham loaned him out having never established himself at any of the 3 clubs. Out wide is a problem too. Hedges always tricks people into thinking hes coming good with his annual early season goal and couple of decent performances but hes already reverting to the mean. Kargbo is terrible. And De Neve and Henriksson are clearly nowhere near up to it. And up front, maybe give Gudjohnsen a first start. -
They should have gone for Thomas Frank from Brentford back in summer of 2024 instead of keeping Ten Hag after the cup win. Also can United afford another pay off after another poor appointment. I would go for Marco Silva myself

Same at my local club. If you didn’t get down there an hour before start of play you’d be lucky to get a seat. Becoming a member was really difficult. Ten years later they were begging people to become members. -

Ideally youd have one left footer and one right footer. But its not ideal to sell our only right footed centre back capable of playing more than 1 match without his body breaking down. We have 2 right backs, and one of them is having to play at centre back, so now the other is injured, the mess we see of a disjojnted defence with players out of position is upon us even earlier than we could have predicted. -

You could still have these people but not on the official board for decisions like this about the lack of penalty decision like most people did post match. -

We certainly have moved on from the "no excuses" culture we were supposed to be building under Eustace. Yes, it was really bad luck that the game had to be called off. But we just have to move on I think. Yesterday, Ismael was moaning about the referee. There has been an absolute shambles surrounding the Lancashire Telegraph. The club seems keen to deflect blame and make out like everyone is against us. We just need to concentrate on what we can control.
