pksrover Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 I would pick: 1. Benni - scored 2 vs Bolton lately 2. Nonda - scored at the Emirates but missed home vs Portsmouth 3. Pedersen - he's got a sweet left foot and a right to be honest 4. Bentley- very confident at the moment 5. Emerton - ???????????? Not sure about Tugay because i remembeer him skying one well over the bar vs Bournemouth in the Carling Cup oy! don't you dear doubt the Legend himself

sleepyjack Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 This things really getting to me!! I'm a Season Ticket Holder and i'm only allowed to buy 1 ticket for myself during Phase 1, but my mates want to sit with me and they are non Season Ticket Holders, so when i go during Phase 2 to buy tickets for them, there will be no chance that we will be next to each other right?? Right. You have to wait for Phase 2 to begin before applying for all of them together.

Yup. You can buy one for yourself and one for a mate in phase 2 or wait to get more in phase 3. If it's more than 1 non-STH you should be ok waiting for phase 3 - we've 13,000 STHs, many of whom will buy in phase 1. Even if every single Rovers STH bought 2 tickets per ST in phase 2, it's still 4,000 short of a sellout. It's very unlikely we'll sell out, so you can relax.
CAPT KAYOS Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Someone else mentioned it - the best seats seem to be the ones behind the goal, which is handy as they are the cheapest. Not bad really £25 for a semi final. OJ i have sat here before for an England match - not directly behind but just to the left as you look. Although close to the action its similar to Ewood dependent upon which seat you get ie you are below or on level with the pitch and its difficult to see what is going on at the other end.
SAS Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 ive emailed northern rail to see what the crack is for rail travel
all you need is duff Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Does anyone know the exact number of £25 tickets available?

stuwilky Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Does anyone know the exact number of £25 tickets available? There are around 4500 seats in the lower tier of the East Stand - according to this site http://www.manutdzone.com/oldtrafford/oldtrafford.htm
all you need is duff Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 According to that website there are only 1500 seats in the East stand lower. The information on the leaflet doesn't really make clear what price category each tier is. It seems to suggest that the whole middle tier is disabled platform which isn't true.

The 2nd tier is the new bit at the top (where we were for the cup semi last season)
SAS Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 ive emailed northern rail to see what the crack is for rail travel they rang me didnt expect such a speedy response from what the guy said they have no plans for extra train services due to a lack of rolling stock but they may be able to make the trains into 3 or 4 carriages wrong he said he was going to refer it to head of operations and get back on to me extra trains will be going from piccadilly to the ground

Roar of the Rover Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Right. You have to wait for Phase 2 to begin before applying for all of them together. So that means we (season ticket holders) can't sit next to our best mate/girlfriend unless they are both season ticket holders themselves?, thats stupid.
Roar of the Rover Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 my manager wont let me have the day off :( and no one will cover my shift Ring in sick pal!. well thats what i'm doing!

Or apply in phase 2. We've 30,000 tickets allocated and 13,000 STHs, so there are at least 17,000 tickets available in phase 2.
