Absolute joke! The poor guy hasn`t been paid in months and this is how they treat him.:angry:

This is wierd as KB was on the radio last week saying he'd already resigned and was just working-out a short notice period. :blink:

Blackwell's notice period was up in the first week in February. His dispute was with the adminitrators.

However, with a potential takeover, he could have been kept on. To be fair, Luton would be mid-table but for the 10 point deduction.

Now he has been binned, which is a bit harsh.

When you see things like this you can understand why people are 'every man for themselves' in this business.

Shoddy.

How on earth do these things happen in the first place? Can the admin staff at FIFA or the FA not count? It'd be like somedbody applying for a gold credit card and then the bank checking it out a month later and finding out that they were only supposed to get silver. Stupid IMO!

Especially at a club owned by Ken Bates! you'd thik they'd check everything out... and with a little weasel as manager.

Anyone see Dennis Wise's comments about Derby?

He was asked about Beckford going to Derby, because Paul Jewell was at the game and Wise said; "Why would he want to go there? Why would he want to go to the Premiership? Leeds are a bigger club than Derby..."

He also said Leeds are bigger than every club in the championship...

funny thing is, all the Leeds fans believe him, there was a big discussion about it on 606... shows how fickle they are! Leeds are just another Newcastle/Spurs who believe they have a right to be in a certain position.

Faye is still a live one.

This Sidwell thing puzzles me. I don't think Chelsea want to loan him. If you recall Sunderland were supposed to sign him on loan on Monday...and that was tosh.

I have a horrible feeling nothing really major is going to happen right now because of the uncertainty over the manager.

Mind you that is also an excuse for not spending money...

faye is coming to train for a few days first tho isnt he??

he has to impress mark hughes before he wins himself a loan deal..and impressing hughes isnt that easy..

if we get him on loan..i would take it hughes is impressed..

Thats why Hughes fancy's the Newcastle job because he has money there to spend on players he wants and now at Blackburn he sadly does not have that. I wish the Faye deal was not alive because i don't think he will offer us anything different then Savage could have done

Any up to the minute info on the Newcastle situation Nicko?

A great deal of guesswork going on...and that's just in the Newcastle boardroom.

I did hear that Ashley likes the backroom staff, so he could be looking to bring in someone to work with them.

Tonight is huge, if the Toon votes Shearer then it becomes very awkward for all concerned.

Newcastle should offer him the job, make it public and see what he says. It's the only way to put this to bed.
