den Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 A disappointing finale, but one last go at man of the match?

roversmum Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 I thought Pedersen worked hard and deserved his goal. Things certainly changed when he went off. I voted for Bentley, he tried so hard and must have been very frustrated and he really shouldn't have lost the ball so much. However, looking at the voting I think Emerton deserves his tally.
sleepyjack Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 Emerton by a mile until a bit of a calamitous double substitution from Hughes left him a bit inefficacious on the left wing.
Mr. E Posted May 11, 2008 Posted May 11, 2008 I think they should all be called back a week before they would have been if we had gotten Intertoto. They obviously started their holidays early, so they can't complain.
joshbrfc Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Not the best of games, oh well seasons over.. Emerton deserved it imo, worked hard and if other players were playing better and also with a bit of luck we could have scored more.
Presty On Tour Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 i gave it to pedersen, only him and emerton looked as though they wanted it today!
PLZ Blue Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 West Ham United should get the Men of the match for fulfilling their end of the deal. None of our lot deserve anything!
yellowsubmarine Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 West Ham United should get the Men of the match for fulfilling their end of the deal. None of our lot deserve anything! Including Lucas.
Hughesy Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Emerton without a doubt. He should get an award for unsung hero - he has put so much effort in this season, full credit to him. He is so undervalued.
Seggie Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 I think Emmertons done reasonably well in this attacking midfield sort of role in the last few weeks, he almost looks a different player. I dont think hes a rightback or a winger but hes put perfomances including v United in a more attacking role. I dont like Steven Reid at Right back, hes completely lost there although he looked lost in the centre. Maybe a break and a full pre season may change that but we may have to accept he probably was never as good as we thought he was.
allanncd Posted May 12, 2008 Posted May 12, 2008 Reid is more of an athlete than a footballer. Does not look comfortable with ball at feet and does not know his pass before receiving the ball. Nothing more than a squad player in a team with any ambitions.
