Pugg Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 I have been emailing talkcrap for a couple of days on different shows with the same email (yes I have a lot of time on my hands at the moment), because they continue to say give him more time etc. The contents of my emails were basically: 1) A club like us can not afford to give Ince more time. We can not afford to get relegated. 2) Have they actually seen us play and seen the mistakes he is making? The coaching staff such as Winterburn working for the media on matchdays, his signings, playing people out of position etc etc 3) Have they listened to the guy speak? Especially before the games against the 'big four'. It's no wonder the players don't have confidence when the manager basically says we have no chance of winning. They never get read out though and they just keep saying the same crap. I've given up listening to it today. I really wanted Ince to succeed and I think I have been more than fair by saving my judgement for after the Sunderland game, but enough is most definitely enough now.

G Somerset Rover Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 He will be given until the new year. I hope he turns it around. If not, hes gone at the start of Jan. If the board were gonna sack him they would have done already. They know how bad they will look if they sack him now. Everyone on the outside wants him to be given time. The board wont listen to a few hundred people on here. Can I have some of what your having? A few hundred?...you've gotta be kidding. Ince admitted himself on Saturday that the fans turned on him.
Eddie Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 The club is making itself look stupid at this point.
alexanders Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Can I have some of what your having? A few hundred?...you've gotta be kidding. Ince admitted himself on Saturday that the fans turned on him. And there where 3000 rovers supporters on saturday?

The board wont listen to a few hundred people on here. On what basis is your 'hope' BR? You're possibly right about the board not listening to a few hundred on here, fortunately they've already heard over a thousand venting their opinion on Saturday so I wouldn't worry too much that the message hasn't got through. It was loud and clear from where I was sat. Can I also say that you have NOT got the best interests of this club at heart if you think we should give Ince more time, it will only lead to relegation and it will be confirmed by Easter at the latest. Never has a man been more out of his depth - he's utterly useless.
waggy Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Can I have some of what your having? A few hundred?...you've gotta be kidding. waggy Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 Admittedly I wasn't there Waggy, but your defence of him recently has no foundation. :rover:i will be defending paul ince whilst he is our manager,if you do not like it put me on ignore,he is trying is best, being let down big time by the players who come out in the press and say they are 100% behind him.now i could make lies up like many posters on here but what is black and white PAUL INCE IS OUR MANAGER He certainly not a rovers fan or does not care about the club who ever it is. cloggyjimmybrfc Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 wonder if the board are waiting/contemplating if hughesy gets the bullet at city?

Assuming that the bad results and performances continue, at what point do you withdraw your support of Mr Ince? Only when the board removes him or when he steps down? When is enough in your eyes? Just curious
my_name_is_Earl Posted December 15, 2008 Posted December 15, 2008 BECAUSE HE DESERVES THE SEASON IN CHARGE,IF HE FAILS HE GETS SACKED,ALONG WITH WILLIAMS On what basis does he deserve this season in charge Burnleyfan?
