I don't believe it to be honest.

It does not make sense at all?

I will tell you one thing for certain. If it's Derbs and Cruz out, Di Santo and Smith in, i will be LIVID!

Not sure really, but when we mention discipline we must remember that EHD plays in blue & white and in comparison AS is a gent!

I think they had

I had a run in with Alan Smith in his Leeds days outside Ewood - he threw a pen at me and threatened to kick the F$%K out of me. Lovely man.

I guess Leftwinger is looking forward to it :D

Rubbish goal scoring record:

2004–2007 Manchester United 61 (7)

2007– Newcastle United 39 (0)

BTw, do you know the fee pedro?

Isn't Smith a midfielder these days?

True. Then again, if he's the midfield engine to replace Tugay i WILL cry!

Cant see it myself!

No link and not revealing how he knows!

If Alan Smith isn’t injured he is getting sent off! It will be a waste of wages as he wont play in a Blue n White shirt for more than 25 mins!

smith will be a good signing for midfield, if it is true that he is on his way to us. I would rather have him in our midfield then Andrews or the axe as it was for some time last year.

Andreas Ottl is not even worthy of comparison to Tugay. Have you watched him play?

Yes. On more then one occasion. Have you?

If he does sign, at least it will be company for Dunn and Reid!

Surley we can get some fit central Midfielders?

These sorts of posts wind me up and make reading the boards pointless. Surely its better when links are posted or sources deemed credible instead of telling us where the player is on his hols. Who cares where he is.

Soon everyone will be just making it up as they go along

Padihampedro have been spot on with stuff earlier and seem like a guy in the know.

What position is Smith going to be used? Attacking midfielder, defensive midfielder, box to box, striker, winger?
