All this needs is a Kallinic goal but we seem unable to make a single chance for him. Fulham are a decent team but poor away from home. I'll take three points anyway we can get them but this isn't a dramatic improvement by any means.

Speaking of Kalinic, that was brilliant! Trapped a Robinson ball right under his foot, swivelled and won us a free kick outside the box. He can be somebody.

Benni is very important to us today. And Niko is too, working his socks off. Shame Junior overhit that pass...

Hoilett overhits the pass, if it had been rolled in front of him Niko would have had a great chance to score his first league goal.

I'm just saying around the pitch, Niko is playing better. More energy, more desire, better control (today, at least), better vision, better runs and he hasn't lost it that I can recall.

We practically dominated alot of the game. Samba should have been sent off by now, Fulham should have had a penalty, Reid should have been booked for an awful challenge on Konchesky.

But you've taken your chances, we haven't well done.

One of the goals was from a mishit corner though...cant exactly claim that as owt other than a fluke.

We've been lucky and haven't performed that great but who cares, a win is a win. 3 points closer to survival and hopefully gives us a big boost going into our upcoming league games.

I'm not saying McCarthy is a bad player but his control today has been woeful. As I was writing, 92:23, he lost the simplest of balls and couldn't be arsed running to try and get it back!
