Pretty terrible human being, but an integral part of wrestling's two biggest boom periods. It's a shame that his personality ultimately ruined his legacy. It is what it is. I suppose he wasn't as bad as Vince, at least.

Showing my age now but I went to Wrestlemania 8 in 1992 and then in 2004-5 and for nearly 2 years was trained to wrestle by someone who wrestled that day Jake "The Snake" Roberts!

I’m not mourning Hogan because he was an arsehole. I’m mourning the bit of my childhood that has gone.

One of the funnier lines from a wrestling promo (bear in mind I was about 12/13) was as ‘Mr. America’: “I’m not Hulk Hogan, Brother!”
