I was thinking today (dangerous I know) that a possible reason we haven't made any signings yet is that maybe clubs just don't want to pay a months wages to players still on holiday/not availabale for pre-season. Surely with the amount of money players are on these days it may not be so unreasonable?

Maybe it is Jones from Schalke, but I hope not, price is a bit steep for that bloke.

How about we go for Park Chu Young the korean striker from monaco? I have a few Korean friends and they say he is massive over there. Just been relegated so might not cost too much and would bring in revenue from those crazy Koreans. Plus..dare I say it...he's always been good on Football Manager...

Onuhua would be a very good signing if it was him, as would Tom Huddlestone.

I'd still take Owen Hargreaves on a pay-as-you-play deal, providing he could pass a thorough medical.

We need a striker more than anything, so I could see this being someone like Robbie Keane.
