Phil - this was mentioned a good few days ago, can`t remember if I read it on here or on twitter though, but I did already know that Balaji was doing this on his own money; I think it may actually have been Nicko but not 100% Phil

Oh come on now. It's been in general knowledge for about a week, looking into Raul. Just like the rest of them, Balaji is willing to cover that sort of signing, ever since buying the club. I could tweet that myself, not ground breaking stuff. Oh yes, then a few days later I shall tweet how it did not work out and materialise. How easy is that.

Rovers very close to clinching first signing. Not allowed to say anymore. Hopefully more tomorrow morning.

I do wonder if it'll be a 'pleasing' signing, a 'crap' signing or an unexpected name. I think it'll be Benjiani, who is a free agent.

So the apparent 'bank problem' that InsiderRover and a number of people have said has been exaggerated to say the least.

I reckon it's Petrovic, sounds a good player and just what we need.

I hope we sign this Petrovic guy, sounds like a decent prospect from what I've read.

Add a good centre half, a striker who can score and a few squad players and all of a sudden things aren't as bad as they were a week ago...

The "bank problem" will only go if we spend at least £13 million (1st Jones instalment plus the reported £5 million per window) by the closure of the window.

Anyway, this sounds positive news, as long as it it's not Banjoni
