dubdubdub Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 cant believe we havent or didnt make a play for scott parker or joey barton and we should b going all out in my opinion to get roman pavlyuchenko or a cheeky bid for david ngog atleast we know they r capable of playing in the premier league Scott Parker would never come to us. Barton is a thwanker. Tottenham are shafts and would demand about £10 million (at least). David Nogo...do you watch football? That man is not capable playing in this league.

T.J.Newton Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 is the word cocker considered swearing on here or somthing?
LeChuck Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 cant believe we havent or didnt make a play for scott parker or joey barton Barton signed a 4 year deal worth between £60-£80 thousand. No wonder no other club came in on it. If they go down then they might find themselves in the same situation as Hull did with Bullard. If Parker leaves West Ham it would obviously be to club near the top end of the table.
jamskinko Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 'South Korean striker and captain Park Chu-Young, currently at Monaco, is on his way to London to undergo a medical at Arsenal, BBC Sport understands.' same guy some people on here were saying wont cut it or isnt good enough?

Just because hes reportedly going to Arsenal dont mean he will automatically cut it in the premier league. I personally think he is not suited for Blackburn Rovers in terms of what we are looking for.
deazel Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Di santo just scored 2 crackers for Wigan. I always thought we should have kept him....he will establish himself in this league. Miles better than Roberts!
Torgeir Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 i would rather take ibi, as he has a better pedigree than the egyptian, the guy couldnt even cut it at spurs. Who's the Egyptian? Mido? Could be Tromsøs Kara? The guy is rated by Vieira. Austin was the MOM. Ruben Yttegård Jensen from Tromsø is also a creative player, but was terrible yesterday. Doubt we can afford Kara, Tromsø are asking for a hell of a lot for him. £4-5m I think.
slough_rover Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Di santo just scored 2 crackers for Wigan. I always thought we should have kept him....he will establish himself in this league. Miles better than Roberts! So we should have kept more dead weight for a couple of more years based on ome game? Give over. If he scores 15 goals this season then you may have a point. The guy was absolute tosh whilst he was with us and made Roberts look clinical. It would have been criminal to give him a permanent deal.

I personally think he is not suited for Blackburn Rovers in terms of what we are looking for. Same here. I'd guess Arsenal see him more as a Nasri replacement, someone who can play wide of a front man (Van Persie). I guess Lille see him like that as well as they're trying to replace Gervinho. We need a central striker, not a support one.
Torgeir Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Di santo just scored 2 crackers for Wigan. I always thought we should have kept him....he will establish himself in this league. Miles better than Roberts! If he has then it has taken him long enough, and I don't think he'll score more than three or four more this season. I think he wanted to play, and we didn't have the luxury of being able to carry a no-scoring striker in our team. Oh wait...
Iceman Posted August 27, 2011 Author Posted August 27, 2011 i would rather take ibi, as he has a better pedigree than the egyptian, the guy couldnt even cut it at spurs. You dont even know which nationality El Hamdaoui is. He is not from Egypt!

No, not basing my opinion on one game. I always thoughthe had talent and just needed some time to find his feet and build his confidence. He didn't shine for us, but in my humble opinion he will go on to build a successful career in this league.
47er Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Barton signed a 4 year deal worth between £60-£80 thousand. No wonder no other club came in on it. Hasn't he gone to QPR?
Joar Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Probably, he's been their star performer in midfield this year. Kim Ojo is having a good season as well upfront but I doubt he would get a work permit anyway, and he's only just made the grade up to Norwegian top league. According to his Wiki Austin has struggled to get a permit himself. Austin was due to join Stoke, but didn't get a wp at that point, and Brann swooped in to sign him. I guess Austin was hoping to prove himself in Norway, get some more caps under his belt and eventually get signed by a premiership team. I reckon he would be good enough, his physeek is way above most of the rest of the norwegian league players. My guess is he would do about as well as Paul Scharner has in the Premier League. Doubt we can afford Kara, Tromsø are asking for a hell of a lot for him. £4-5m I think. I seem to recall rumours of Arsenal looking at him in january. Have not really seen him play much, so can't really comment on his quality beyond that.
LeChuck Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Hasn't he gone to QPR? Yeah. I was talking about that transfer in the first paragraph then added a bit about Parker at the end.
stu07 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Dunn and Pederson injured, this will test our squad and if we lose guve Kean an excuse that Venkys will swallow. Heard the latest podcast from Kammy, it's really good.
philipl Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Well, Kean has fantastic faith in all his signings. Not one in the starting line-up today. And us fans are supposed to believe all will be well on 1 September?... He won't pick them even in the increasingly unlikely event we do make any more signings.

With Everton's strength in midfield - I think he wanted to attempt to match them. However - I was surprised that neither Rochina or Formica started.
pick32 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 As things stand the owners will make a massive loss on us getting relegated, they could turn things around so easily just bring in Cisse and Onuha with hughes as manager and we are looking at a top10 finish. -----------Robinson Onuha Samba Nelsen Givet ------Petrovic Nzonzi Hoilet Formica Vukcenic ------------Cisse

pick32 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Cisse available for 13million and Onuoha 3.5million I doubt the compo for Kean will amount to 8.5million.
Taggart Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Well, Kean has fantastic faith in all his signings. Not one in the starting line-up today. wandel77 Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Well we never gonna win games with out strikers who can score goals. But we will proberly end up with another midfielder.
philipl Posted August 27, 2011 Posted August 27, 2011 Crikey. It is 27 August and the entire Transfer sub-section has had about 30 posts all day. Says everything about how gutted the fans are.
