Guest Wen Y Hu Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 In the 13th BRFCS podcast, produced by J*B, Wen Y Hu is joined by Kamy, Philipl, Eddie and Paul to discuss the Norwich game, Paul Clement's influence on team performances and the protest movement. This is followed by comment on the midweek Carling Cup victory over Newcastle at a sparsely populated Ewood and debate on the issue of supporting the club versus supporting the manager. The podcast can be downloaded from the front page here.

Brfcrule1 Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 cheers wen & kamy look forward to hearing it
Amo Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 I hope you ask Eddie when his consortium is buying out Venky's.
J*B Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 Glenn, I've uploaded the podcast to the server, Wen said it could take a few hours for it to process it? When it does, would you mind posting the link & doing the front page? Any problems, let me know.
Glenn Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 It's up on the front page now (and I *may* have fixed the iTunes problems). I've not heard it myself yet, so it's all very exciting
SouthAussieRover Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Whoever out of you had the sniffles I hope youre feeling better. Listened to 10 minutes so far along with 10 minutes of podcast 12. Any chance of reproducing the podcasts in written form?
Glenn Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 If somebody wants to volunteer to transcribe them, then we'd be delighted, but it already takes significant man power to put together an hour a week of just audio. I wonder if there is some groovy speech to text software we could use and then tidy it up later.
Guest Wen Y Hu Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Just checked the front page post and the link was to Podcast #10. Apologies for the inconvenience. I have corrected the link and updated the post. There still seem to be issues with iTunes not refreshing properly. Changing the settings to manual download in the Podcast section in iTunes seemed to force a refresh about three podcasts ago, but I've had no luck since.
2k. Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 another good listen cheers for the effort that you put into these. Mike
glen9mullan Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Great Podcast Guys, one of the best so far
chaddyrovers Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 great work on the podcast. one of my favourites so far. Will Nicko be appearing on another podcast soon???
roverwhelmed Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Excellent podcast, thank you to all the contributors. I really look forward to these podcasts at the moment, and really appreciate all the effort that goes into them.
LeChuck Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Having more guests definitely improves the format as it becomes more fluid, that was a really good listen.
chris Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 I wonder if there is some groovy speech to text software we could use and then tidy it up later. The software would only be able to understand Eddie's robotic voice.
Steve Moss Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Excellent pod cast. Again, it was very enlightening.
St_Jimmy_77 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 If somebody wants to volunteer to transcribe them, then we'd be delighted, but it already takes significant man power to put together an hour a week of just audio. I wonder if there is some groovy speech to text software we could use and then tidy it up later. I'd do that if you want Mr....?
mattyc2422 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Yeah great job guys. Not sure if I'm positive, depressed or a bit of both!
RibbleValleyRover Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Excellent podcast. I found the discussion about the planned demonstration before the Chelsea game in particular quite interesting. It also makes me wonder if a certain Rovers 'PR person' listened to the podcast as well. The reason why I say that is when Kamy in particular said he was suprised on how much cooperation the club has provided during the previous two protests, we have now seen a sudden shift towards less tolerance with the club putting a bit of a crackdown on the next protest in regards to the use of banners. Just a guess of course, I have no proof someone at Rovers did or didn't listen to the podcast. Maybe it's just a coincidence that the line from the club has changed after the podcast. Keep up the good work guys.
Amo Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 I found myself agreeing with Philip more than any sane man should.
BangkokRover Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 These podcast really are the highlights of the BRFCS.com Kammys news is always great and more detail that we get anywhere else. I think it would always be a good idea to end the podcast on a funny or an up beat note. Cheers BKR
Brfcrule1 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 Will there be a podcast 2morrow looking forward to it cheers brfcrule1.
