Tyrone Shoelaces
" Dirty Water " - The Standells. 60's U.S. garage band. Their " Sometimes Good Guys Don't Wear White " is worth a listen as well.

Audax
Allman Brothers - Done Somebody Wrong Dirty Water, definitely know that song, classic, great beat, I group it with another song I consider another early "hard" rocker in my view, I'll have to remember to say that one given the opportunity. And a few covers of the song.
Tyrone Shoelaces
The Showmen - " The Wrong Girl ". I play this for my wife from time to time. The lead singer later formed the more successfu Chairmen Of The Board.

forumquizmaster
My Funny Valentine - Frank Sinatra (could have also gone for several others) TS - A spotters badge for you once again. A lot of people think Money's Too Tight was a Simply Red original and Mick Hucknall composition. He did a good job of it but the Valentine Bros is my favourite. Bet they made a few unexpected quid out of the cover version as it was only 2 or 3 years after theirs came out.
Tyrone Shoelaces
Simply Red - Crap. The original Valentine Bros version is the boss . Back to the comp. A slight cheat. Frankie Ford - " Sea Cruise ". This will get a dead man up dancing. Well apart from me that is.
