Mike Graham Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 I see Iain Dowie is building himself (how did he get the planning permission?) a house at Whitnell Fold which is equal distance between Chorley and Ewood. I wonder if we will see him in a role at Rovers perhaps? He can't be any worse then the present Venky apologists.

Boner Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Ian Dowie is a weapons grade plonker and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near our club.
Mike Graham Posted March 14, 2015 Author Posted March 14, 2015 Ian Dowie is a weapons grade plonker and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near our club. He would fit in well then Boner !

Even then he'd be a bit silly to slag his employer if he had aspirations on being head steward.

Andyblue2 Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Ian Dowie is a weapons grade plonker and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near our club. I'd have him ahead of the trainee manager currently in charge. At least he's managed a team to promotion out of this league.
Boner Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 'Plonker'? Bit harsh. Dowie does have a Masters Degree in Engineering (or similar) Boner. How about you? That'll come in handy. My comment comes from first hand experience. Maybe everyone had had a little bit too much to drink but I was left wondering how he was allowed out on his own, never mind allowed to manage a football team. A bit harsh maybe but it left a bitter taste.

No doubt he'd jump at a chance at Rovers but he does a lot of sniffing around Oldham as well.
mhead Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Send him a Season-Ticket pack(sic) and enrol him in the Rovers trust.
Pedro Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 He got a side promoted...something our last four or five managers have failed to do.
Paul Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 clearly invested his money well ! Probably has but everything connected with this project appears, and I stress the word, to be though his wife's foundation. I'm not sure if it's to be a house or some other use. This is not to suggest anything underhand. Work seems to have ground to a halt in recent weeks. It's been very stop/start.
Rover_Shaun Posted March 19, 2015 Posted March 19, 2015 I wonder if Butch has finally given up his Wilpshire dream and is moving in with The Sloth? It would make a cracking Mel B/Patsy Kensit Bo Selecta style sitcom My comment comes from first hand experience. Maybe everyone had had a little bit too much to drink...... it left a bitter taste.Weapon grade plonker you say? You weren't walking funny as well the day after? It could explain it all away
