That's unfair on the donkeys who have plied their trade without a fee for ages. At least they do it for the love....
Pedro
Matt Jansen. He should have gone to the World Cup, should played on a bigger stage than Ewood and shouldn't have been stupid enough to get on a moped in Rome.

Agree re: moped, otherwise he could have played for England & stayed with us?
Pedro
Agree re: moped, otherwise he could have played for England & stayed with us? He was capable of playing for a someone like Utd and being an England regular. I love Rovers but we were only an average side around then.

So it's quite conceivable that had he not crashed he would have never pulled our shirt on again. Such a great waste of talent.

Pedro
At least we stuck by him, wouldn't have happened now? Yeah, no chance. Amazing how long we did stick by him. I was gutted when he didn't make a full recovery and ended up leaving.
VinjayV4
Utd bid for him AGAIN the summer of his accident. So it's quite conceivable that had he not crashed he would have never pulled our shirt on again. Such a great waste of talent. I certainly hope he would have said a big resounding NO to them. Would have soured my opinion of him to be honest had he gone there. Would rather not have known United made a bid some things don't need to be revealed. Like Dalglish needlessly admitting he wanted to return to Liverpool while still Rovers manager. I was furious when Eriksson didn't pick him. Would have really hurt to see him go to United after being so angry on his behalf.

Strange how things pan out eh.
donnermeat
Well he certainly wouldn't have looked out of place at Utd, cracking player.
Dreyski
Playing about on Sporcle and Aaron Doran's name popped up, wasn't he highly regarded at some point? Now playing in the lower reaches of the Scottush league, IIRC.
