Don't want to get too excited yet. He's only played a couple of seasons of top flight football in Denmark and Norway. But it's another option up top that we desperately needed.

That's plenty.

Dønnum is apparently a right midfielder/wing back. I wouldn't complain if he came here, but it does seem like a strange position to spend what I imagine is relatively serious money on for us.

Wouldn't be a replacement for Alebiosu would he? I've only just learned to spell his name!

Absolutely no chance this deal was anywhere near the rumoured fee

It will be similar to the Tavares deal, where the reported fee on €3.5M is if he hits every single add on, scores a truckload of goals, and we win premonition

'the initial fee will be circa €1.5M

Jorgenssen signed for Blackburn Rovers, from a Danish club. A step in the right direction.

Wasn't it Bodo Glimt who is doing pretty well In Europe?

Theyve possibly set him up to embarrass him. He must be struggling for sources at the club post banishment.

I was thinking that.

Jackson's beyond useless in general. I hardly think getting a transfer rumour wrong is the worst thing he's ever done. I was a lot more irritated by his puff pieces on new contracts (edit) and Hedges earlier on today.

Either that, or the club are trying to flush out a leak

Different names given to different journalists/ITKs.

If someone gets sacked from Rovers in he next week, they may have been a leak

Another possibility is RoversXtra posted the Donnum story on twitter at pretty much exactly the same time as Jackson.  So maybe Jackson got caught copying his homework? (or vice versa, but if Jackson was the one being copied, I can not see a reason as to why he deleted his story)

Jorgensen is a top player at this level. Brentford did well and had great success with Danish players..hope he do well for us.. Rovers have done well to keep this under wraps.
