  1. It defies logic. They wouldn't give a penny in the January 2017 transfer window to help save us from relegation. 12 months later we're in L1 they have opened the taps up. The club will need another £20m AT LEAST if they want us to be top half of the Championship (if we go up!). Fingers crossed!
  2. Samual not on the bench tonight, injured/illness/dropped?
  3. Jan 18: £4.7m Sep 17: £6.7m May 17: £5.7m Feb 17: £0.7m Total £17.8m cash put in in the last year. You’ve got to wonder why there’s still £1.5m cash losses going out each month. Crazy for a league one club.
  4. He was still being paid in the 16/17 season by Rovers - from a reliable source.
  5. The cash flow for the year to 31 Mar 17 included over £10million of cash received from player sales (Duffy, Marshall, etc). This covered most of the £16million operating cash loss. Assuming the wages go down a bit this season, but revenue plummets even more, with cash spent on Dack etc the operating loss is likely to be the same, so £16 million(ish) cash to find. They’ve already put it a few million in share capital, but massive gap remains.
  6. Pretty much more of the same. Losing over a million £ a month. There will be another £10 million hole to fill this season which was covered by players sales in these accounts. Duplication of pages 34 and 35 on the co house document, attention to detail!
  7. Could be a blessing in disguise that Tomlinson will get some game time, potentially the best partner we've got for Smallwood. Bit like Nutall being involved, wouldn't have happened if it weren't for the red card.
  8. Cheston will be rubbing his hands together. Pays the electric bill for another month. On the pitch, we need to get our defence in order quickly before this one to at least keep it tight. No-lose situation really. We would expect to lose, but win and it might give us a boost for the league.
  9. Wouldn't surprise me, after all we've still got the idiots in charge who thought that it was a good idea to appoint Coyle.
  10. I don't think he is a fans' favourite, but you can bet that venkys think he is.
  11. Daft as it sounds, I think they might sack Mowbray. They know nothing about football and will probably blame him in some way for not keeping us up depsite their 'backing' in January (loans). They will be quite happy with Dunn as manager - fans' favourite and cheap.
  12. Keith Andrews giving away that penalty away at Villa... oh dear
  13. None of QPR, Forest or Birmingham have been in the relegation places this season. Rovers have been there all season bar about 4 weeks. It would be a massive massive shock if we stayed up at the expense of any of those.
  14. Man Utd at home - didn't we go 1 up in the first half? League games only?
  15. It does need restructuring but going off the last 6 years I have no faith in the owners or management to do it properly. Especially given that the budget is now zero. I can only see a handful of current players staying and everyone else being replaced with the cheapest possible players available = guaranteed relegation next season. Mowbray might even walk.
  16. Really? Why do you say that? senior was licking his lips at the "restructuring" he's got planned this summer.
  17. Whether we survive in this league or not, there's going to be a mass clear out of players in summer. Anyone on a contract will be up for sale, everyone else will just leave for nothing. I just can't get too excited about staying up and being next season's Rotherham.
  18. Stay up and we're almost certainly down next season anyway, right?
  19. Let's face it we will be amongst the relegation candidates next season in league 1 too. Most of the squad is leaving this summer to be replaced with ??? Throw in a possible 15pt deduction for admin and its hello League 2.
  20. Back in the day Bolton had Ivan Campo when we had Tugay. My Bolton mates used to love Campo, when he got subbed he'd be back out on the pitch after the full time whilstle with no boots/socks on - just a pair of Flip-flops!
  21. That must've been a very late winner for Burton, after the final whistle.
