  1. Can we sign Rathbone? He's only doing a job but he's done more than any of ours.
  2. We have zero height up front with him.
  3. I imagine you aren't watching the game. Gallagher has been by far the worst player on the pitch, he's clearly not up for it and struggling with his lack of ability.
  4. I'm glad someone else can see it the way I do. Our forward players are really letting us down. And it's not like it didn't happen under Mowbray. It was that fucker that assembled a team without a decent number 9.
  5. Rotherham don't deserve to be 1-0 up. Rovers the better team. What was Pickering doing with that pass? Gallagher is very bad. Vale not offering much but his hold up play earlier in the game was good. Dack is having the best game in a long time. He has better players in front of him and we win, simple as that. Keeper has gone unchallenged, Rotherham look a poor team but we have no goalscorers. I'd bring Dolan on as I think he'll run their defence ragged. I haven't seen much of Markanday but can he be any worse than Gallagher? I think we'll see Travis for Garrett too.
  6. Gallagher in particular. It must be like playing alongside a lobotomy patient. Some of Dack's play is beyond this league.
  7. Their defence is terrible. You can see visible tears* in their eyes every time we're going forward. Pity we've no one to capitilise on it. *note, I'm not ruling out tears of laughter.
  8. No need to imagine, just rewatch the Boro game.
  9. Vale is actually holding up the ball well, Gallagher is terrible. I'd replace him with a cone.
  10. We're the better team here but the keeper isn't being tested. But look at Rotherham, crap team conceding goals and signed a defender. Rovers desperate for more goals. Halfway through the window and nothing.
  11. And so are Rotherham, which makes this even more depressing. The universe has conspired, along with Venkys and our new DoF, to make this a difficult contest.
  12. We may as well give up, not enough character to come back.
  13. Gallagher's missed about four decent chances recently.
  14. And Burnley are crying over losing Harwood Bellis. Already a thin squad and now without four players and an empty loanee place. I fully expect one of the starters to go off injured as we average one a week. I can't remember Sky or national press mentioning our injury problems but plenty of shock horror headlines about Harwood Bellis and Burnley's injury crisis.
  15. Another game struggling for goals, a problem still not addressed since the beginning of the 2021/22 season. Prove me wrong Rovers.
  16. 23 appearances, Bournemouth youth who never really broke into the team. 3 appearances in a poor Stoke side. That's our man!
  17. I can only hope it brings you the same amount of joy as our injuries have this season 😉
  18. It'll be hilarious if he's as bad for united as he was for you. Sadly there's no way he can contribute to a teams relegation this time.
  19. I wouldn't upload a video file anyway. Upload it to YouTube then embed it here then you aren't killing the sites bandwidth and storage space 👍
  20. In my lifetime Rovers fans have never had it as bad as Burnley fans. 1994/1995 was a hell of a season for us and just pure hell for them. I can't imagine. Any of their fans that stuck around must be hardcore. We were watching our players holding the Premier League trophy aloft to a packed Ewood, and plaudits around the country as they were being relegated to Div3. I remember a piece in the Telegraph about David Eyres being their top scorer. He scored less than 10. Above it was another piece with a large picture of England's number 9 Alan Shearer winning the golden boot. I don't know about Burnley fans but Rovers fans could be reminded of this from time to time. I don't think a local rival has been burned quite as badly as that in world football.
  21. We've been in the doldrums for over a decade. Every team has been lucky to play us during this period, especially our six fingered neighbours and the ever obsessed nobenders. I've watched Burnley more than a few times, expecting this mythical super team but they've often looked ordinary, but they've been playing teams in the doldrums and ended up snatching a goal. It's what top teams do, make their own luck. I watched them against Stoke and you would never have believed they were top of the league. Strolling about, misplacing passes, keeper having a mare, and suicidally passing it about at the back - but getting away with it because Stoke didn't make the most out of their chances. Burnley nicked a lucky goal, Stoke were robbed of a point, Burnley took all three and forgot all about it. In the next match a hard working Swansea team were unlucky not to get a point, 2-1. JDT's biggest mistake was to play an experimental team against Burnley. Complete suicide. But then several times this season I've seen JDT set up the team to attack a team, get a goal, then hang on for an entire match. Something I don't remember seeing under Mowbray. There are many positives about JDT and some worries but I find him difficult to make an overall judgement with the short time he's been here, and with the squad as he found it.
  22. He'd score a lot more than Gallagher though. Going into the second half of the season with Gallagher, Vale and Hirst (who is maybe gone) would be disappointing. We've got BBD and Dack too but BBD plays wide and Dack plays deeper. I expect Dack to chip in with a few goals and BBD to notch more but as we learned last year we shouldn't rely on BBD for goals. It'd be amazing if we could find a prolific centre forward and an experienced midfielder who could dictate the pace of a game.
  23. We need both but I disagree the strikers are feeding off scraps. A better goalscorer than Gallagher would have scored at least a couple between the Boro and Cardiff games.
  24. Dembele is a winger, looking at his stats he does score goals but either as many or less than Gallagher. He also plays in BBDs position but also can be more central. Ideally we need a midfielder and a striker. Dembele would be a luxury I think, I can see why TM wanted him.
