I remember that we've needed a decent striker since Summer 2021. As well as replacing the outgoing defenders that should have been the priority. Edit: Also I'll be completely honest, my reply was for someone else not your post.

It could have been addressed in Summer, but we'll see what happens in January. If GB sticks to his belief that we're pretty much good with transfers for this season I'll be bitterly disappointed whether promotion is the aim or not.

Too many passengers in the squad, not enough goals, midfield is paper thin. Many of us knew this last year, why the club doesn't know is beyond me.

He's had a decent couple of games but importantly he's not a fullback. We know this because as you mention he's not our first choice? I've certainly been to enough games to know that JRC cannot play consistently well over a number of matches. I've seen Pickering have a couple of good games but I'd replace him in a heartbeat. Also steady on, I had to endure JRC's terribly sedate performances earlier on the season. Then again I have a memory that stretches back further than two or three matches. Better to also take into context the discussion was about over the matches played so far, not just the last three.

We've got some utterly shit players mixed with some decent players and a few exceptional ones on their day. We've no decent fullbacks, no centre forward that we can rely on, and the midfield consists of two misfits and a few kids. While JDT isn't blameless I don't know if this squad can do better if I'm being brutally honest.

Gallagher did nothing apart from waste a couple of decent chances. We were down to nine.

I get that some are frustrated with JDT but tonight Boro were gifted 3 points by Buckley and the fourth official. We also have some shit players that need replacing who could have done better to extend the lead before half time. I can't blame JDT for Buckley thinking he was in a practice match, terrible refereeing and terrible finishing.

I'm not one to blame JDT for things, like the fourth official recommending a bizarre sending off. Or Buckley taking petulant risks. Or our lack of decent working fullbacks. But this is where I don't get on with JDT. Dack off Garrett on.

This is why the likes of Gallagher can't keep missing chances that better players would put away. We should have been at least 2-0 up by half time. Crap referee though.
