Dack was playing further forward than he should. When he started playing a bit deeper he started contributing more to the game. JDT played him deeper in the Blackpool match and he played well. Then next game he put him further forward, he was crap and barely featured since. You'd hope that the manager would have looked at the two performances and taken away the obvious, but he didn't. Just like putting Brittain on the opposite side and Hedges at wingback. He expects too much from the players and doesn't seem to care or take responsibility for not getting the most from them.

Today he could have played 4-4-1-1, played everyone in their preferred positions and given Preston a game.

Hyam and Brittain the only decent signings for me. Apart from the last two games Morton has done well but he’s a young lad, we shouldn’t be pinning our hopes on him, he should be here to contribute, not be the main man. According to Broughton it was a good window.

Just disappointing that Broughton has already said we aren't doing much business in January.

And yes I get it, he's hardly had a run in the team but the problem is he doesn't look up for it either as a goalscorer, holding up the ball, in the air, bullying defenders. I was willing to give him a chance but he's now 23 and doesn't seem to have any attributes that will make him a success at this level. We need someone who can hit the ground running in January.
