  1. Gallagher out wide yet again after the dreadful performance against Hull is definitely Mowbray's fault.
  2. Have Sky done us more than ever here?
  3. I'm shocked Davenport isn't playing ahead of Johnson.
  4. I remember turning up to a game and they were searching infants at the turnstile. One kid had a little plastic bottle of water and they said to the Dad, he can't take this in. The Dad was saying, it's a hot day how can you take a drink off a child like that. "Club policy" came the reply.
  5. Good thing Boro aren't all that then.
  6. If you weren't in the stadium when Kean was in charge, Anderson "wasn't" running the club, stewards were treating season ticket holders like criminals, and the likes of John Williams and Tom Finn were marginalised and resigning, all whilst Venkys did absolutely nothing, you'll never know why it would take so much to forgive and forget. That night when we went down against Wigan was a very sad day for the club. We were one of the best ran clubs in the entire country before Venkys came along.
  7. To be fair some people don't. You've only got to have a cursory glance at Facebook or Twitter to see that.
  8. I'm fully expecting it, it'll be a surprise if he doesn't.
  9. I saw someone say on FB that Nyambe could play at left wing back, Zeefuick on right?
  10. They sound like Venkys without the money. The whole leveraged buyout using the clubs own funds shouldn't have been allowed.
  11. I said I didn't fancy Rovers in this game, listed my reasons and it was like I'd called your Mam a bastard. Again, you're using bullshit in your "debate". I listed the reasons I think we'll struggle but if the above is all you took from it then you're incapable of reading and digesting any reasoned responses to you. It was never rocket science. I wasn't "doing Rovers down" and there was nothing actually debate-worthy about it. I don't think we'll win this one and you do. Who cares if anyone thinks we may not win this one? It's a tough game at a tough time, that's all. If we get 3 points tomorrow that will be lovely, but if we don't only one of us is going to be unprepared for it.
  12. Aye, get on at him then he wrote it. I thanked his post for other reasons.
  13. 🤣🤣🤣 All I can say is thanks.
  14. Not sure if you mean me there but I didn't say Boro were a briliant side. They played well the other day and we didn't. Mowbray was back to his old tricks of square pegs in round holes. They've won the last 5 games. We've been tired and lacking inspiration since New Year. We are without the second top goalscorer, a couple of other key players and our new signing. Facts. Your optimism is admirable but why you won't acknowledge we're forced to field a weakened team in a tough match is a touch pedantic. And why you're so bothered that anyone might think we may struggle to get anything out of this one is a bit weird. It was never a jab at the club, just objective thoughts based on facts.
  15. A keyword in that sentence was "think". I don't think we have a snowball's chance in hell. It's called an opinion, a thought, a guess. At no point have I disputed that we did have a chance. It's football, anything can happen. Unlike you I'm not trying to be the thought police, if anyone thinks we're going to get 3 points tomorrow I'm all for it. I hope we do.
  16. He's pacey and gets himself into goalscoring positions if the opposition allow him. Give him enough chances and he'll score at least one. In the PL (with a mid table outfit like Southampton) he won't be getting enough bites. You have to be a brutal finisher to be prolific in the PL.
  17. We're underpowered at the moment and playing against the team that's the top of the form table. Is that a fact? I didn't "compare their run to ours", or "write us off", so now you're just being silly to win some bizarre argument that Rovers can win this match, which was never disputed.
  18. They are the in-form team in this league, that's their current status not an opinion.
  19. That and Gallagher being the only other striker that’s scored a senior goal.
  20. Good player but wouldn’t it be nice to sign someone with a bit more experience at this level - a goalscorer preferably.
  21. Now the transfer window isn’t looking too clever for us considering the money for Markanday could have gone elsewhere. No ones fault but this is why ffp doesn’t work. If you have long term injuries you’re afraid to spend cash.
  22. No it’s common sense to look at the facts and say, this is going to be a tough game and the likelihood is, we won’t get 3 points from this one. I can’t see it. It’s also common sense to go, it’s a game of football and anything is possible (see Wigan game). So of course they don’t have the 3 points tied up.
  23. It'a not panic it's common sense. We've lost not only our goal scorer but a big personality in the team, we've been off the boil for a few games, Tony reverted to fantasy football and we're playing the in-form team of the league. Gallagher didn't look arsed the other day and he's going to be our top goalscorer. It's not treating Boro like Man City, it's treating them as what they are, the team that's currently in-form - and treating Rovers like they are, without their leading goalscorer and suffering a few absences.
  24. I guess you didn't watch us against Hull then, and now we are relying on Gallagher for goals. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/teams/blackburn-rovers/top-scorers
