  1. Is it me or have we started off absolutely shit. We look very much like the side that lost 7-0. Really poor stuff.
  2. Healey may be a good player, he didn’t get much of a chance at Cardiff who were in the PL at the time. He was loaned to everyone then MK Dons took him (after another loan) and he scored goals. Then he did the same at Toulouse. Not really a journeyman, he’s only had a permanent contract at 4 clubs since he was a teenager and he’s scored at all of them. I’d prefer Maja I think, but we could do with a decent forward to put a shift in if we’re chasing the game.
  3. Great, so the two difficult games he’s not here for. And Sky can **** off!
  4. I thought he was a Burnley fan on the wind up.
  5. I don't understand where this "Gallagher held up the ball well" came from. He didn't hold the ball up once. The ball kept pinging back.
  6. Would love for us to go and buy Adebayo. It would be a real boost to our promotion dreams. He'd score a lot and take the pressure off Diaze whilst helping retain the ball at the opposition end. Not happening though, they'll put a silly fee on him. Unless we have some money spare from Armstrong and we get rid of Gallagher but we've just given him a new contract.
  7. Our toughest game this month. I'll be happy with a draw, then go on to beat Luton which will be another difficult one. We must get 3 points at Hull. I've got a feeling we'll be lucky to get 5 points out of the remaining January games with us going off the boil. And February I'm expecting at least 14 points with new signings giving us a boost.
  8. I still think QPR are the biggest danger.
  9. We miss Pickering, hopefully Zeefuick can bring that back for us.
  10. While we didn't play good football, we weren't crap. Defensively we were as solid as any other win this season, and considering we were (wrongly) a man down the team showed character. I do hope midfield and going forward we improve though!
  11. Sounds like it's pronounced Zayfek when you listen to the commentators.
  12. I was hoping Edun would be given the opportunity to take Travis's role but with Pickering out for 4-6 weeks it's highly doubtful.
  13. Of course he will be because we have no one else and he wasn't terrible there, but Mowbray said he bought him for midfield. My response was to the comment, "I'm sure Edun is more of a midfielder." Summer signing Edun will fill in for Pickering at left wing-back, though Mowbray added: “It’s not his natural role,” Mowbray added. “Tayo can fill in there, it’s only over the last year or so that Michael Appleton has tried to convert him into a left back at Lincoln. “We didn’t really bring him here as a left back, we brought him here as a versatile left footed player who I know as a midfield player, a tenacious midfielder who can tackle but also manipulate the ball and travel with it. “At this moment he’ll have to fill in on the left side of our defence and I’m sure he’ll do fine.”
  14. Mowbray said he bought him as a midfielder not a full back.
  15. Along with Van Hecke and Wharton. Pickering was missed today.
  16. I hope he's better than the last midfielder we signed from MK Dons.
  17. They couldn't pass the ball, it's a weird set up at the moment. Rock solid at the back but Buckley, Rothwell, Brereton, Khadra, Travis need to work on their passing, it's appallingly bad at the moment. The worst is when they pass it straight to an opposing player. Is it nerves, weariness, laziness because there's little competition for places? Only Tony knows but it needs freshening up, I'd love to see a good striker and a good midfielder to come in to provide competition.
  18. F*ck me the referee has given a free kick that’s not for a Cardiff player.
  19. Gallaghers not the player you want up front at a time like this is it.
