Mowbray and Waggott should have a shortlist of players for all budgets. Mowbray actually said that in an interview. If Rothwell is definitely going they should be approaching clubs first thing tomorrow morning. I'll be disappointed if we lose Rothwell and don't bring anyone in, or bring in some dolloper from League 1.

I do think he's over rated though, as I said he disappears in games all to often. He's great on occasion but sometimes can end up a passenger. I'm not sure what the answer is to replacing him but I'd just go out and get the best midfielder available that suits our budget. There are some exceptional midfielders in this league (as there are attackers) but it depends on how ambitious we are.

J*B We should replace him with Swift at Reading, a far better player if a PL club doesn't get him first. Talk on their forums of him going for as little as £2m.

He is the best midfielder on his day but he fades away in so many matches. Capable of some amazing stuff but few and far between. It's a shame that the season he goes is the season he's been at his best but he still becomes the invisible man all to often, and in a team that often features players like Gallagher we need everyone else giving 100%

I'd be sad to see any more outgoings unless someone wanted Gallagher and we could get another forward in. Keep that defence together at all costs.

And at the moment Rovers are paying him a wage, he should still play for the team when we've so many players out. If not for Mowbray or the shirt, then for his team mates who he's travelled up and down the country with for years and have finally got the chance of getting into the Premier League.

I'd pay for his taxi to Bournemouth if it's £6m. Then buy Adebayo and that lad from Reading.

This is his perspective - he's got mere months to wait and he's just potentially ruined our first opportunity of getting promoted which would mean a massive bonus for him and his team mates. He obviously doesn't believe we can do it. If it's Bournemouth then he's been offered life changing sums of money to derail us, which makes him a bigger shithouse. Too late to sell him now and not make a massive dent in the side. I can't see us getting a solid replacement for him at this late stage. And they'll all be asking stupid money if we suddenly get £30m in the bank and know we're desperate for a replacement with the clock ticking down.
