TRANSFER THREAD - JANUARY 2021

We could put a one legged Phil Jones wearing a Pudsey Bear costume on his own in the centre of defence and it'd be an upgrade. -
TRANSFER THREAD - JANUARY 2021

28 years old with bags of experience, personally I'd have him back. If he could stay fit it'd certainly bolster the defence. Would he come to a mid-table Championship team, nah. -

His ethos is, keep at it and eventually it'll work even if it's detrimental to the team and most of the time it is. -

All I want for Christmas is... A better manager. Not a lot of love for Tony on Facebook tonight. I imagine his super fans will be trying their best to make up excuses whilst drinking a couple of tinnies, then falling back on the old chestnut "call yourself a fan?!" -

He won't walk, that would be like anyone else throwing away their copy of football manager 2021. -

Haha, Chapman on, a man who has forgotten what a football pitch looks like. -

Douglas in a position to cross, passes it backwards, we lose the ball. Sums us up. -

Why has he replaced the entire midfield?! Just Gallagher for Dolan would have done for now. Fecks sake. -

It's not his game though, he's breaking things up. If you want to blame anyone for the passing it's the rest of the team but it's more like forward back forward back back forward shit ball/cross. Hopefully the league will take pity on us and start awarding points for possession. -

Why didn't we cross the ball then? Forward, forward, backward, backward, forward, forward, backward, backward, even more backward, forward, shit cross, lose the ball. -

I thought it more demonstrated how Mowbray got the team selection hopelessly wrong. Douglas was terrible. He doesn't look match fit and perhaps well past it for this league. -

He bought him for Armstrong's position but because Armstrong now can't be dropped due to sheer amount of goals scored, he's nowhere to put his £5m man. So he just shoves him out there and hopes for the best. I truly believe it's as simple as that. If Armstrong hadn't have scored all those goals I have no doubt he'd be out wide.
