  1. Haha, I said he'd bring back Bennett as soon as he could and people took it as a joke. It wasn't. Text book Tony. And Evans as well, who has been nothing short of brilliant in recent games and well worth his place today. 4-0 to mighty Mogga's blue and white warriors.
  2. Formation aside, if he keeps signing and picking the same players that make the errors it's his fault.
  3. "Oh I wish we could play Coventry every day!"
  4. Lenihan needs dropping, but the buck stops with Mowbray. Sticking players on out of position like Gallagher, persisting with players like Evans season after season, and sticking Buckley in midfield wasn't the brightest of ideas was it.
  5. It's especially bizarre when we have Dolan and Gallagher has never played well there, or anywhere really. It's a strange tactic. We're getting beat, I'll put a struggling striker on the wing. Or is it more like, I spent 5 mil on this c*nt, so I better justify it by having him on the pitch in some capacity.
  6. Because TMobs has the memory of a goldfish.
  7. This is what I was saying the other day. We may have signed new players but Evans, Bell, Bennett and Gallagher will always be around to select. And Mowbray will keep selecting them again and again and a-fecking-gain.
  8. I was impressed with the way JRC links up with other players more than Nyambe, but Nyambe probably better when defending/under the kosh. Both still only young and learning.
  9. Wish we could have him back for the second half of the season. I also wish we could play Coventry every match.
  10. Caution team! Let's wait till we see which Tony has turned up before getting billy big bollocks about the team selection
  11. The manager picked Bell and Evans after watching them struggle through a game only a few days ago. Bell in particular was terrible tonight. So many people called it pre-match. Shame the manager didn't.
  12. Going off the first 6 games, same as last season I reckon. Lots of shit games, with a few decent games. The more vocal fans saying we're going to get into the plays offs but ending mid table. Then everyone saying oh well we'll do it next season we've got some really good players. Till the end of time.
  13. If ever there was proof that ol' Tony was winging it a bit.
  14. Did he explain why he played Bell, Johnson and Evans again after their godawful performance at the weekend?
  15. We watched the same match! Most definitely not a WOW match for me.
  16. It summed it up for me when we'd been on a bad run then suddenly pulled out a bunch of great performances. Journalist said to him, what have you changed to get that reaction? Mowbray said I'm as confused as you, I haven't changed anything. An honest but haphazard approach to football management.
  17. And still wasn't the best manager. In fairness Mowbray is a decent league 1 manager as any mistakes he made were more easily overlooked. It's a league full of mistakes and people giving it a go. Can't get away with it in the Chump.
  18. One of the highlights of the game for me. Deserved a goal.
  19. It's nice you think you're clever and that, but I was being facetious. It was a shit performance overall. You get no points for possession. Manager again made some baffling choices. I take no positives when only days after they were absolutely dire, the manager makes the same mistake by selecting them again. And because of that mistake it costs us with the opening two goals.
  20. I'm shit at maths but even I know 3-1 for the rest of the season wouldn't be good.
  21. We lost because they scored three goals, not because of the ones we missed. If we didn't have a paper thin midfield and such an awful defence on the left we may have had a chance despite our forwards failings. Bell and Evans are two players that make terrible mistakes game after game, still get picked. I'd say that's where the problem lies.
  22. Thanks to Mowbray he has no competition. Get comfortable, get complacent. Too many League 1 players in the team, only one striker, managers persistance with the same old faces like Evans and Johnson. terrible tactics and subs game after game. We haven't got a chance in this league.
  23. People were saying that Saturday tea time.
  24. It's the least of my worries about this team.
